We were filed an unlawful detainer, which we Now found out that it's not binding without A Judge's signature. She didn't help prevent it from blemishing our credit. As tenants now we are having a problem finding a place to live. Most of the time she was being condescending but not actually... giving counsel or advice. We now currently displaced. Edi is a great no-nonsense type of lawyer. She handled to emergency ex-parte work that needed to be done immediately and that was before I had even paid her. She went up against some pretty big names in town considering my ex father-in -law is an attorney. When it didn't go their way they would chang...e lawyers. She wasn't fazed. They filed motion after ridiculous motion to try to make me run out of patience and resources. She gave me the backing I needed to be able to stand my ground. She understood where I was coming from because she used to be a legal secretary and didn't start out life with a silver spoon in her mouth. She focused, as we agreed, on getting the exact parenting plan I wanted even if that cost me in the financial department. We got the parenting plan and I got screwed on the debt but that wasn't her fault. That was because of some quick maneuvering from the other side. She also handled a DUI I was charged with. I wasn't intoxicated which the tests proved. But the prosecutor insisted I plea to DUI. Edi quickly got a plea to running a red light. Not because I would have lost if we fought but just because of the overall cost. Smart move. Good advice.
