A friend and I were charged with trespassing after we went onto private land. However, we were also charged with vandalism that we had nothing to do with. The penalty for this type of vandalism carried a harsh penalty in this county, so this charge was somewhat scary, on top of being erroneous. The l...and owner was convinced that we were the ones who had vandalized his property, despite the fact that this was false. The prosecutor was hungry for blood, but Justin and my friend's lawyer met with the land owner and convinced him to drop the charges. Justin was also able to get the trespassing charge dropped, provided that I perform a small amount of community service. This is pretty much the best possible outcome anyone could hope for in this situation. Things were looking somewhat dire at the beginning of this process, but Justin really went above and beyond to ensure a positive outcome for us.
