Jon J McMullen

Absolutely could not ask for a better lawyer. Jon not only gets the job done, but he is extremely passionate about what he does. This is a lawyer that's not all about money, he truly looks out for the best interest of his clients and his reputation as one of the best, if not THE BEST defense attorney...s you can find. He's a straight shooter that tells you the truth instead of what you want to hear, and I think the rest of the legal system respects this very integrity giving him the upper hand with negotiations within. He remembered the littlest details I told him about my case months prior and used them to our advantage, his mind is like a steel trap! The only time he can't be reached is when he's giving another client the same undivided attention you would hope he gives you, and for such a busy man he gets back to you right away every time. I've went the cheap route before but know now that Jon is worth every penny every time, and can't imagine trusting another attorney with my cases like I trust Jon.

I could have spent upwards of 15 years involving 5 felony sexual abuse charges. I had never been in trouble with the law and didn't know were to turn for help. I was referred to Mr. McMullen through a family member. On days when we went to court Jon was very professional. He seemed to be well kn...own and liked by everybody in the courtroom. Twice upon leaving the courtroom I had people come up to me and ask for his card. Once during a hearing he actually had to correct a judge and show them what needed to be done in a particular part of my case. Mr. McMullen fought hard for me. Unfortunately because of media coverage I still had to spend 9 months in jail and plead to 2 of the 5 charges. I know that without his help I most likely would have gone to prison for a long time. While in jail I heard many horror stories about people going with court appointed attorneys and how they were hard to get a hold of and didn't feel satisfied with them. I made several calls to Jon and he got back to me in a timely fashion. As I was going in to be sentenced one of the two officers transporting me from the jail to the courthouse asked me who my attorney was and when I told him he said, " That's a good attorney to have." The other officer told me, " I know if I were in trouble he would be the first attorney on my list." Needless to say I was very satisfied with Jon throughout my trial process. If I had to go through this nightmare again he would still be my attorney. He was worth ever penny.

Jon and Megumi were great to work with. They always responded quickly to my phone calls and all my questions and concerns were always addressed. Jon was able to get the DA to agree to let me go through the diversion program rather than going through a trial. That saved me from having to go through... so much!

Jon is a very impressive attorney. His presence in the court room was very reassuring to me. I could tell that the prosecutors and judge had respect for him. He worked out a negotiated settlement that reduced my DUI to a Neg I, which was really important in my case. I am absolutely delighted with... the outcome of my case. He didn't keep me as informed as what I would have liked, but in the end, he followed-through on everything that was of importance. And, I was very happy with an outcome that could have been quite complicated in my case.
