On May 4 I called Jessy Law firm and asked to help me to file an eviction lawsuit against the tenant .All paperwork was collected by another representative already. He asked me for my credit card before he would even look at my case: no less than $2000. His secretary assured me that they will not... withdraw my money from the credit card unless we would sign the fee/client agreement . Luckily, the tenants moved out without the need for lawsuit or filing before Jessy and I even signed the agreement. Unfortunately, his law firm still withdrawn the money from my credit card $2000 and is refusing to retune it. I could only imagine how much it would cost me :probably the same as for the another client whom references are within the line with my.

While in the beginning, I feel Jesse was eager to get my business and was quite helpful. I feel that once he learned I wasn’t going to be a ‘big spender’, the tone all changed. I expressed being on a limited budget several times early on. It wasn’t just this, but the fact that we both found out I was... fully covered in litigation by my insurance company and their in house legal team. I repeated myself numerous times in emails to Jesse that I didn’t want to incur any more bills with him, since I was fully covered elsewhere. He agreed, expressed how lucky I was to get this new free coverage, and said he would wrap up a few things at no cost and get them over to my new lawyer. He basically did the following for me: Responded to my suit with the court (filed a response letting them know I received it basically, nothing more), and forwarded a generic and simple half a page counter suit document to my new lawyer. I had already put down $500. Assuming we were all done and everyone was happy (I never inquired if I was owed any money out of the $500 as a nice gesture, but feel like I should have now) , I get an almost $800 additional bill from Jesse!? I asked what was going on, and he replied he had a lot of work on this ‘counterclaim’ document! Needless to say I was VERY upset and not pleased with this. Especially after he assured me that the simple counter suit document would come without any fees. I had even asked him upfront, if there would be a fee, and he assured me no. Very little nothing was done in the time he represented me until my Insurance company’s legal team took over, and this guy wants $1,300+! I am giving him 2-stars, because he seemed somewhat solid in the very beginning. Otherwise it be a one star. Be careful hiring this lawyer and set up a flat fee payment plan itemizing each task before hand. Don’t just assume he’s taking care of your best interest. I would not recommend Jesse as a lawyer and would be concerned about him in a courtroom setting.

Jesse did exactly what he stated he would do and he did it in record time. The response time was amazing! It was actually a pleasure to speak with him. I found him to be forthright, honest and approachable. Jesse's advice was exactly on target. He has a very kind manner and seems genuinely inte...rested in resolving legal issues with the best outcome for his client. I don't often recommend others to my customers, but with regard to Jesse, I will make an exception and feel completely confident in the recommendation. If I ever need an attorney again for my business, it eases my mind to know there is a trustworthy legal professional right here in Vancouver, WA. Thank you Jesse for your help.

Jesse came recommended to us by our CPA and for good reason. We were having trouble with a contractor who did a small remodeling job for us and never completed the project. It resulted in us having to incur extra costs to hire someone else to finish the project, we are hoping to recoup some costs. ... After looking over the contract and documents he gave us his honest opinion and drafted a demand letter. This was our first experience with a lawyer and it was somewhat daunting at first. He was extremely knowledgeable, straightforward and easy to talk to. He laid out what our options were and let us do what we wanted without any pressure from him. In the end we filed in small claims court and are hoping for the best. I would highly recommend him.
