My small business was sued back in 2006. The case was a civil case and it was about nuisance. Initially we hired a lawyer from a large firm in Tacoma. The case drug on and the expenses were really mounting. It didn't seem like we were moving forward and we clearly could not afford to go on. So we de...cided to try finding a local attorney in hopes that he/she would know the local scene better and perhaps take a more effective approach. After interviewing many friends in the area regarding attorneys, we finally decided to meet with Bruce Finlay to discuss our case. After spending about 4 hours with us reviewing our "situation" he said he would take our case. He gave us several options as to how to handle the fees. He was extremely fair, but more importantly, he seemed to take a keen interest in our case and it gave us the confidence to go on and not give up. It turned out to be one of the best and most important decisions of our lives. Bruce stuck with us on our case for over 8 years. He saw us through a 2 day trial in Superior Court, and then again stuck with us through a 2 year Court of Appeals episode and finally, he got us a successful victory in the State Supreme Court. He never tried to back down nor did he ever pressure us for more money, though he was spending very long hours working the case. He is the most hard working, honest man that I have ever encountered and I would be honored to recommend him. We will be forever grateful to him for the faith that he has restored to us in the law.

When I needed a Lawyer Mr. Finlay came highly recommended by one of his Colleagues within the legal system. Since I had never been involved in the legal system before, I didn’t have a clue what to do or expect. From the start I was reassured by Mr. Finlay’s knowledge of the Law and the dignity with... which he treated me and my Wife. During each continuance, hearing and eventual trial Mr. Finlay never waivered in his dedication to my case nor did he ever compromise giving his full attention and expertise. My case had a successful outcome and that had everything to do with Mr. Finlay’s conviction in obtaining Justice for his Clients. This was one of the most stressful times in my life and thanks to Mr. Finlay’s representation it didn’t remain that way.

We have used Mr. Finlay a few times with a neighbor dispute that could not be resolved outside of the courts. The confidence that he gave at all times was just what we needed with such an ugly situation. Mr. Finlay was always responsive to our needs, he even emailed us back while on family vacatio...n with his concerns. With all the anxieties and fears we faced dealing with such a horrible situation, "losing our Peace at home" we could not have had a better person by our side. I don't think we could ever express enough our gratitude for his professional & friendly guidance and services. Thank you Mr. Finlay for the peace we now have when we come home.

Mr Finlay along with his wonderful PI Greg Gilbertson really helped make me feel that I was going to be heard. Mr Finlay really had such a cool calm confident attitude that helped ease my nerves.
