hindsight is 20/20

James arrived late to court and was dressed inappropriately, which left the judge visibly displeased and set a negative tone for our case. He failed to formulate a defense and instead advised me not to contest the charges, suggesting I should focus on family matters instead. Later, he submitted a sta...tement to the court admitting that his advice was misguided and acknowledging it was a poor decision. In another part of my case, James informed me he would require additional payment to represent me at trial. He also remarked that he believed the jury would think I was "crazy enough" to have fabricated my defense. Throughout our interactions, he frequently spoke about his personal drug use, mentioned that it took him several attempts to pass the bar exam, and shared disturbing anecdotes—such as playing the lawyer part representing someone he thought probably really was a child predictor simply because the client paid him with a $10,000 television as if it was OK to pretend to but offer no actual defense because of his assumptions. James disregarded the prosecutor’s comment to me regarding the questionable legality of the presumed paraphernalia that prompted the search, which may not have justified escalating the situation from a routine traffic stop. Instead of challenging this, he waited until a plea deal was offered and told me it was my only option. I foolishly paid thousands more for James to represent me in a family law matter, which he initially accepted. However, just days later, he claimed he was not qualified to handle that case and refused to refund the money, stating it would be applied to "other matters." The problem is, those other matters had already been completed. I requested a full audit and itemized receipt for the representation I paid for so I could understand how the funds were allocated, but I received nothing in return. I have also requested access to the case files, but James has repeatedly stated that he does not share client files under any circumstances.

Passionate and professional

I hired James initially to get me out of a misdemeanor for violation of a restraining order. It was a ridiculous case, but he pursued it for me and we decided to take it to trial. He smoked the prosecutor and I was acquitted by a jury trial. I then hired James to continue working on my divorce. This... man is dogged in his pursuit of justice and the rights of his clients. I would recommend James to anyone, and have made a personal friend out of him and his wife Tina.

When you have a case that keeps you AND your attorney up at night

For the last 7 months James defended our 17 yr old son whom was facing VERY serious charges-allegations were made that our child threatened to shoot up a local H.S., & to kill a fellow student because he was gay as well as threats to this gay students family, Sheriffs pounding at our door at 2am to a...rrest our son on probable cause (i.e. someone said our son said this) & he was charged w/ THREE FELONIES, later they added a misdemeanor for when our son did scratch this student w/ a pencil after he kept taking pictures of our son and posting them on social media this student also at one point rubbed his buttocks on our sons genitals, long story short our son had enough and reacted. Our lives were turned upside down, our home was searched and we had to remove all of our firearms, our son was detained for 5 days in juvenile hall and bail was RAISED higher by the judge than what prosecution asked for (Too much media on school shootings and everything else out on TV today) Things were becoming OVER-DRAMATIZED but what do you expect when the words GUN-SHOOTING-SCHOOL-GAY are being used. THE REAL story--our son had been sexually harassed/assaulted by this other student whom fell in love with him, our son tried to make it stop on his own and instead of taking this issue to us or to the school he did make some verbal comments in which he regrets terribly. Our son was actually friends w/ this student for a period of time until this students platonic friendship became an obsession. James helped us get a SAPO order a Sexual Assault Protection Order against this student for WHAT HE DID DO to our son. I still get emotional thinking about how my child was a victim first, Unfortunately the SAPO did not erase the comments our son made. James stayed the course through all the drama and uncomfortable subject matter (there WAS LOTS of graphic pictures, social media, texts you name it) James did not waiver. He was kind & took the time to explain to our son in great detail the law and how it works, he treated our teenager like an adult & we appreciated that. During the SAPO hearing & cross examination James treated the other student with the utmost respect HOWEVER did not let him off the hook regardless of how uncomfortable the subject matter was, James held the other student accountable for the things this student did say and do to our son. James painted the CORRECT picture to the judge whom reiterated this student did under the RCW/law sexually assault/harass our son. Our son had NEVER been in trouble before, great grades and gentle in nature and now he was expelled from school for an entire year and was looking at having multiple felonies all because he didn't know how to handle same-sex sexual harassment. We opted to put our son into counseling and paid a pretty penny for a psychological evaluation and risk assessment to satisfy all involved. James THANK GOD worked with us on a rate for his services, in our situation this case was not inexpensive, but James cost was the most affordable. I would gladly pay this again for the outcome we received. 4 gross misdemeanors, 12 months probation, 24 hours community service, No contact with the specific HS. Thank you James for everything you did for us, for being kind & understanding regardless of the subject matter, for listening to me over & over repeat the same things, James handled me a mom that was emotionally distressed & at times at wits end! Our case was unbelievably embarrassing/emotionally charged & James kept calm, light hearted & used humor which helped immensely. I highly recommend James especially if your case has anything to do with things that are uncomfortable to discuss or that would be media worthy. There was a point we were concerned that our case may have received media attention but we were able to keep things quiet & James kept our case confidential & respected our privacy. We would not have the outcome we have if it weren't for James knowledge/expertise of the law.

Excellent results every time

I first time I was represented by James Gazori was over 20 years ago when he pursuaded the court to dismiss misdemeanor charges against me. A few years later, he got another misdemeanor case dismissed. And a few years ago he got felony charges against me dismissed with prejudice. His outstanding rep...resentation has saved my job, my reputation, and my good standing in the community on three different occasions. He's unlike many defense attorneys because he doesn't let the prosecutor run the whole show and I've even seen him stand toe to toe with the jude - and win. I've recommended him to many friends and relatives over the years and he's consistently delivered positive results. And I strongly recommend him now.
