About Harold
Biography
Harold D. Carr was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 1981. He is an Eagle member of the Washington State Association for Justice, and also an elected representative on the Board of Governors. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, Thurston County Bar Association, Pierce County Bar Association, and is admitted to the Federal District Court for Western Washington.
Prior to establishing the Law Offices of Harold D. Carr, P.S. in 1989, Mr. Carr actively practiced in law firms in King County, Pierce County, and Thurston County. He obtained a Juris Doctor degree from University of Kansas School of Law in 1981 and his undergraduate B.S and graduate Masters degree from Kansas State University in 1977 and 1978, respectively.
He devotes his law practice to obtaining just and fair compensation from insurance companies for those individuals injured as a result of negligence in cases primarily involving motor vehicle accidents. He has served as a mediator on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Panel and as an arbitrator on numerous UIM panels.
Mr. Carr is actively involved in the community and has served as President of the Lacey Lamplighter Lions for three terms and as chairperson for several Lion's committees.
He is married to Dorrie Carr, retired former personal assistant for the past 16 years to the Commander of Madigan Army Medical Center, Ft. Lewis. They have three daughters and one son.

Excellent Lawyer
Mr Carr is an excellent lawyer. He, and all his staff, are not only good lawyers they are also good, and caring people. I would recommend him to anyone. He will go above and beyond to get you anything he can.

Too long of wait for response from lawyer needed to be reminded to do work for my case. My opinion is no one cares over at Lakewood office ....work was too late and left me with more problems than solutions. Than they decide we cant represent you and leave me with the mess- thanks a lot for nothing....

Replied last December 04, 2014Response from Harold Carr. I am not allowed to reveal confidential information about a former client’s representation, therefore I must be cryptic in defending the actions of my law firm and I am not allowed to get into any specific details. I will limit my response to replying to the former client’s comments. I feel that the rating is unfair and unwarranted. Contrary to this person’s statement, we feel that there was not a delay in our communications during the short time in which we were representing this person. Contrary to this person’s assertion, we feel that we were diligent in our representation and that we gave this person our sincere effort and attention. Contrary to that person’s comment, we do care about our clients.
