Biography
I began my legal career at the Washington State Court of Appeals, learning how judges decide cases and honing my research and writing skills. I then moved to the Washington State Office of Public Defense, where I was in charge of overseeing and training the state’s appellate public defenders. For more than ten years I worked with some of the best appellate attorneys in the state, helping them level up their skills and learning from them in turn. During that time, I heard from many clients who spent huge sums to hire non-specialist appellate attorneys. Too frequently, it went badly. I have spent my career learning the ins and outs of the appellate process and I would like nothing better than to put those skills to work for you.
