I don’t think I can fully explain my appreciation for what I see as an answer to my prayers. You never think it’s going to be you, until it is. Taken in one night. My home, my children, my dignity. I called almost every firm in town. When I heard Jennifer’s voice and explained my situation, she knew... we were facing an uphill battle. So many hurtles were ahead of me, but she believed in me. She’s a sight to see in action. Passionate and tenacious. I told myself, if I just tell the truth, she’ll take care of the rest and she did. She always told me it would be alright, even when I felt like everything would crumble. Jennifer is very direct, but also showed kindness, soothing me in my times of distress. Which is very helpful if you’re recovering from trauma. Her paralegal, Robin, was responsive when needed and always emotionally reassuring to me as well. They work quickly and if they need you, you’ll know. After over two decades with the man I married, I didn’t think I’d be able to go on. Jennifer told me it was time before I was ready to let go. She told my brain what my heart couldn’t accept. She is the logic that was needed. If you listen to her advice and have pure intentions, things will likely go your way. I have a whole new chapter of life to live now and see that a broken heart can love again. You can be happy again. I have never known such fear but I have never known such gratitude. I will be forever grateful.

My ex made my divorce very difficult. It took nearly 3 years and cost more than it should. I had a protection order in place and he kept saying I didn't need one to every judge that we talked to, every time we went in front of them. He missed many hearings, costing me a lot more both in time and mone...y than it should both in fees and in losing work. Jennifer did an amazing job in making sure I was able to keep the protection order in place as well as getting the divorce finalized with my ex throwing everything he could in the way. I was awarded lawyer fees as well by the judge, who saw through my ex. I still have to deal with him from time to time and I plan to keep Jennifer as my lawyer every time I have to face him and I recommend her to any person that needs a family lawyer.

I feel really lucky that Smith Law Group represented me. I have heard so may horror stories related to friends of mine going through a divorce and not having a good attorney. This was not the case with me. I most certainly was well represented and supported. Most importantly if it looked like somethi...ng may go sideways or we could not get an agreement Jen’s office was able to calm the storm and get us back to settling the case. I am very grateful for all their work on my behalf!
