Auto Injury

Attorney Carter Hicks was very knowledgeable and professional in our our case involving our UIM personal injury, vehicle accident. He always kept us updated and informed through the entire process. Mr. Hick's took all the stress and angsiety off both my spouse and myself to say the least. The entire ...process was done in a very short period of time due to his professionalism. Very informative during the entire process by phone, email and texting to include mailing. Thanks

excellent lawyer and an ethical human being!

I was injured in a high speed rear end collision and sought Carter's help with my case. Long ago I had used another personal injury attorney who treated me like garbage, so I was not excited to need the services of a personal injury attorney again. Carter is different. He gave me a lengthy phone cons...ultation and I felt good about choosing him. I was amazed by the level of service and advocacy Carter gave me. He is a quick and exceedingly clear communicator. He kept me appraised of every development and was very honest about the challenges I faced with my case. I found Carter to be very kind and respectful and generous with his time, but make no mistake, he is no pushover-he is a fierce and competent attorney. I would recommend him to anyone.

Excellent Experience

After my car was rear ended and totaled, I was not optomistic for a satisfactory outcome. After meeting with Carter I realized that there was compensation due in my case. Carter is easy going and stayed the course. He was exactly the type of attorney I needed. He is honest, ethical, and totally for w...hat is fair for the injured party. He is easy to communicate with and doesn't waste his clients time. I was pleased with every step of the process and the outcome resulted in my receiving more than double what the insurance company had originally offered. I will recommend Carter to anyone who needs a good and knowledgeable attorney!

Mr. Hick: Professional, thorough, and caring.

Recently I was represented by Mr. Carter Hick after being injured in an automobile collision. As a result of the accident I suffered pain in my neck and shoulders that required medical attention and extensive physical therapy. This collision happened just 7 months after I had recovered from cervica...l spine surgery. Not only was I injured in this collision, my car was totaled. After the collision, I began my claim with our personal automobile insurance company. They covered my medical expenses for the duration of my recovery through PIP (Personal Injury Protection) coverage. Once I felt I was nearing a 99% recovery, I submitted my claim for reimbursement to the other driver's automobile insurance. Once I began working with the insurance company, I knew I needed legal advice and assistance. Mr. Hick was referred to me by an attorney from another local law firm in Olympia. Our family has worked with the referring law firm for over 20 years, so I felt confident that my meeting and working with Mr. Hick was going to be a positive experience. Mr. Hick from the start had a manner that put me at ease. He showed genuine concern for my case and my condition. He was extremely thorough in his questioning, fact collection and preparation. He always followed through on what he told me he would do. Shortly after beginning the process to settle this claim, I chose to work my claim through arbitration. This required witnesses who were aware of my recovery and me to answer questions of the arbitrator assigned to my case. None of us had experienced this before. Mr. Hick scheduled a pre-arbitration meeting with me and my witnesses. He prepared all of us for the arbitration. The result of the actual arbitration meeting went well for me. I (we)so appreciated his guidance through this process. His level of professionalism was unsurpassed. In the end our automobile insurance company was awarded reimbursement, and we were awarded monies to cover my personal damages. Mr. Hick helped me in a way I never would have managed on my own.

Auto Accident Representation

In January of 2014 I was involved in an auto accident in Pierce County. I live in Thurston County and Carter came highly recommended by friends and colleagues. From the first day I met with Carter I knew I had made the right choice; I pride myself in being a fairly good judge of character and Carter ...was just that, a great lawyer and even better person. From day one Carter and his team took the reins on my case allowing me to concentrate and focus on healing from the accident. My case lasted a little over a year; though Carter and I only saw each other face to face a few time from start to finish he always kept me informed on events and involved me on decisions that needed my input. My single biggest appreciation was that I knew I had someone in my court I could trust, and that allowed me to just let the process work itself out. I truly believe that I have a friend in Carter, and that I will for many years to come go to him first on legal matters.
