Extremely Professional and Knowledgeable

Debra S. Morse helped me out in 2008 - 2009 in regards to my divorce and property settlement. She was/is extremely knowledgeable regarding family law and really did her homework for me. She always kept me very well informed and explained things in detail both verbally and via letter/email. She was... referred to me by another associate and I have been very blessed to have her on my side. In fact, she did her research and subsequent homework so well, that when my case was approached to be reopened in 2012, there was not a leg to stand on. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Top of the line, professional, and thorough.

A really good lawyer

Debra is a highly competent and professional lawyer. She gives good advice and is very reasonable in her rates. I am not sure she charged me for everything she did for me. The final bill seemed low. I think I paid a lot less than my ex did. :-) I think she cares about her clients. Debra was ...good about keeping me informed about her schedule. We were able to work around her other clients easily. She does not work for a huge law firm. This saves money and she does not have to keep a bunch of higher ups informed about everything. She was recommended to me by a friend that had used her services for his divorce several years ago. He was quite satisfied with her also. I made the highly unusual decision to do some of my negotiations with my ex without lawyers and then having the lawyers draft the language. I would not suggest that to everyone. It worked for me, but could easily have gone bad. I was gearing up for a nasty trial. I believe her reputation helped move the process along with the other lawyer and my ex. They were a bit afraid of her. I have talked with her recently and she gave me a recommendation of a lawyer for a friend for a different issue. Hopefully, I will never go through another divorce, but if I did, I would use her again. General advise: You can save a little money by furnishing paper and digital copies of everything. Put the copies in a notebook. Some organization by yourself can save you a few coins. Be patient with your lawyer; you are not the only case they are handling.

Experienced, knowledgeable and honest

Ms. Morse is very professional as well as very knowledgeable in the divorce / custody laws of Washington State. Her fees are comparable to other local attorneys (of which I had interviewed two others prior to Ms. Morse), with her work being (I believe to be) superior. She is very detail oriented a...nd very organized. Many thanks to her for getting me through the myriad of paperwork and court hearings needed for my divorce and custody matters. Thank you, Debra

Debra Morse is the best lawyer to have representing you.

From start to finish in my very difficult divorse case Debra Morse did an outstanding job, she is very professional, organized and thorough in her work and findings, now that my divorse is final I am still amazed at what a good job Debra did for me, gaining custody of my three boys and i am a male, I... will recommend Debra Morse not only to men but anyone who needs to be represented in a family law case.

Divorce lawyer

Debra handled my divorce with legal knowledge tempered with compassion. It was a painful time for me involving not only the end of my marriage but the loss of my home in a down market, a long distance move, and critical health care issues as well. She was able to recommend real estate and other profe...ssionals as well as helpful suggestions for personal coping mechanisms throughout the process. She offers clear instructions, innovative options/solutions to hurdles, and handles the emotional ups and downs experienced by her clients with humanity and sound advice. Even though I had to move 3000 miles away before the end of my case, she was easily available by phone, e-mail, and fax as needed and kept me up-dated and involved in every aspect of the decision-making needed to conclude the case. Her sense of humor and down to earth approach made it possible to navigate a difficult life change without losing my sanity.
