Versatile and Ethical

When I first met Debra, I wasn't sure how my divorce was going to proceed. What I liked about her instantly was that she is extensively trained in mediation but also isn't one to back down from conflict. My husband at the time was proposing a collaborative divorce, and although I had many people enco...uraging me to try that route, I didn't feel like we would be good candidates for making it work. Debra skillfully explored the pros and cons of how to proceed with me, ultimately helping me make the best decision for moving forward. Throughout the process, she kept me focused on what was best for my son. I always felt fully confident in her knowledge of the law and the courts, and I trusted her completely to handle the details of my case in a timely way. Divorce is difficult, no matter how you look at it, and I can't imagine having to go through it with an attorney you didn't trust to do a good job. With Debra in my corner, my divorce proceeded as quickly and smoothly as possible, and I was able to move on with my life. I've since recommended Debra several times because I have complete confidence in both her abilities and her integrity.

Debra Morse is a divorce attorney I strongly recommend

I have never been through a divorce before and it is an experience I would not wish to repeat. I have three sons, two being teenagers and one being an adult. I am the main wage earner. The case was unique in many ways. As the respondent in the case I faced the possibility of loosing a great dea...l due to unreasonable demands of my ex-spouse. I was quite fortunate to have Debra Morse as my attorney. She came highly recommended and I certainly would recommend her. There were a lot of aspects to a divorce, which I never knew. My divorce was very unique in many ways due to various reasons. It is time and work intensive to get all the required information in the divorce process. There were several court hearings. Mediation was scheduled and Ms. Morse advised me that it was not in my best interest to participate in given the petitioner’s demands. I was so glad that we did not go to mediation. Doing a settlement in court worked out so much better, in fact much better than expected. There are a lot of requirements in a divorce and it is even more complicated when there are children involved. Ms. Morse always kept me on track and kept me informed throughout the divorce. She was always very professional and I always felt that I had an attorney that looked out for my best interest. Her staff was very good and was keeping me on task. My divorce took from May of 2010 to the final divorce decree in mid October of 2012. It was a complicated and long process and I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to have a great attorney. I am so glad that I had Debra Morse for my attorney.

More than a lawyer.

Prior to interviewing and retaining Debra, I had another lawyer who handled my initial parenting plan. After the initial parenting plan was complete and my child’s mother and I had our “final parenting plan” I thought “phew, it’s all over with and we can move on with this agreement in place”, boy was... I wrong. Since our final plan we have had two parenting plan modifications, two visits to mediation, one contempt hearing and one police supervised pickup. After thoroughly interviewing three attorneys to replace the first, I decided on Debra. From the get-go Debra developed a long-term strategy for me and my situation. The plan required patience and the ability to remain calm, I am neither. It’s been a long-haul yet Debra has been with me every-step of the way. Although, I cannot say the other parent changed who they are, Debra’s plan worked. My child couldn’t be happier with his living arrangements, our parenting plan has been completely overhauled, all of the nonsense has ceased, and all of the adults in my son’s life are communicating civilly. Thank you Debra for all you have done and I will always be happy to serve you as one of your references.

Excellent!

Debra handled two divorce cases for me which were nightmares. She was very professional and though my cases took a long time to resolve she was very professional and encouraging. I was happy and satisfied with the results. She is excellent and smart in a court setting and in a mediation setting as we...ll.If I ever needed an attorney I would hire her again!
