David Phillip Oliver

I was under 40 when I became disabled, which is already a factor against me. The medical notes and recording on my case were terrible. Doctors wrote the bare minimum and it was hard to convey the extent of my illness. Mr. Oliver worked with me to help advocate for myself better and ultimately he repr...esented me in court - and won. No matter how stressful the process got, and stressful it was, I always felt like I was in good hands.

I had heard alot of horror stories, about social security lawyers, that didn’t talk to clients, or cancelled at the last minute, leaving them searching for last minute counsel. This was definately not the issue with Mr. Oliver. He had Several meetings and talks with me, that were over an hour each.... He listened and made questionnaires for my doctors, that helped me get what I needed to prove my Disability. His assistant was very helpful when he was not directly available. he kept things real, and gave me direction, wen I asked. In my hearing, the judge only asked state one question, and that was to clarify what something was, not if they thought I could work, which means he did a good job at questioning me on all subjects.

I was denied SSDI benefits a few times before I talked to David. He was recommend to me by a fellow Veteran. I would recommend David Oliver. Why 5 stars? The first time I talked to David was over the phone. He heard my case, and said he believed I had a legitimate case. He told me what I could ex...pect, and it was almost exactly as he predicted. We won the case. Every time I called and talked with him (or his staff) or had an in office appointment he always took the time to make sure all my questions were answered. Honestly I felt I was wasting my time and that I was not going to get approved for SSDI. However with Mr. Oliver's payment policy you only pay if you win I figured I had nothing to lose.
