Complete Confidence
I think it is safe to say that nobody ever wants to need a disability attorney, however; unfortunately, life and accidents happen. When I was faced with a life changing circumstance, and suddenly found myself in need of filing for long-term disability and SS benefits, I was overwhelmed. To be dealing with a new normal with countless doctor appointments, paperwork, and constant questionnaires, I was scared, frustrated and confused. I came to the realization that I needed support. Researching and hiring a lawyer was not a task that I took lightly. Choosing David Oliver was the BEST decision I ever made. David and his team were professional, reassuring, accessible, and direct. They returned calls timely and never made me feel like I was an inconvenience or that my questions were ignorant. Handled (and won) a complicated case
I was under 40 when I became disabled, which is already a factor against me. The medical notes and recording on my case were terrible. Doctors wrote the bare minimum and it was hard to convey the extent of my illness. Mr. Oliver worked with me to help advocate for myself better and ultimately he represented me in court - and won. No matter how stressful the process got, and stressful it was, I always felt like I was in good hands.

Good Choice
I had heard alot of horror stories, about social security lawyers, that didn’t talk to clients, or cancelled at the last minute, leaving them searching for last minute counsel. This was definately not the issue with Mr. Oliver. He had Several meetings and talks with me, that were over an hour each. He listened and made questionnaires for my doctors, that helped me get what I needed to prove my Disability. His assistant was very helpful when he was not directly available. he kept things real, and gave me direction, wen I asked. In my hearing, the judge only asked state one question, and that was to clarify what something was, not if they thought I could work, which means he did a good job at questioning me on all subjects.

Knowledgeable and Supportive
After more than a year working with another attorney who could not articulate what I needed to provide, that attorney dropped my case. Fortunately, I quickly found David Oliver. I had little faith, he believed.
I was denied SSDI benefits a few times before I talked to David. He was recommend to me by a fellow Veteran. I would recommend David Oliver. Why 5 stars? The first time I talked to David was over the phone. He heard my case, and said he believed I had a legitimate case. He told me what I could expect, and it was almost exactly as he predicted. We won the case. Every time I called and talked with him (or his staff) or had an in office appointment he always took the time to make sure all my questions were answered. Honestly I felt I was wasting my time and that I was not going to get approved for SSDI. However with Mr. Oliver's payment policy you only pay if you win I figured I had nothing to lose. Now I plan to hire him again for my VA benefits to improve my VA Disability Rating. Semper Fi J
