Highly Recommend David and his team!

Approved 12/22/25 for SSDI after 4 years I can't thank David Oliver and his staff enough!! I seriously doubt I wouldve ever been approved. He and his staff are so helpful and kind (thanks Robyn for always answering my emails quickly, I know there were many. And David, I know you are very busy but ...you always got back quickly as well. 5 stars, highly recommend using his office:-) I've lived in WA state my whole life. Worked continuously from age 16 to 42. Was a nurse (LPN) from 2003-January 2022. Same job for 14 years. In 2018 the asthma I'd had since age 7 downgraded to severe persistent eosinophilic type. Between 2018 and now I've had 18 bouts of pneumonia, multiple ER Visits and a lengthy ICU stay. Maxed out on asthma meds. On 3 daily inhalers, on prednisone every other month, use a nebulizer every 3-4 hrs about 2 weeks per month. In counseling as my depression and anxiety worsened as my health did. On 2 antidepressants and anxiety meds. I was fired from my allergy nurse job on 1/31/22 for some bs reasons because they couldn't say they were firing me for missing too many days. I initially filed for SSDI in February 2022. Denied in August 2022. Spoke to David Oliver (disability lawyer) recommended by my neighbor and reapplied in October 2022. Denied again in March 2023. He appealed and I finally had my hearing before a judge in Kentucky via phone on 11/26/25. It went well. The occupational expert recommended jobs like mail room and other jobs that wouldn't pay close to what I made as a nurse. The judge kept questioning him asking if I could miss more than 3 days per month and keep my job, or take unscheduled breaks every 3 hrs for 30 min to do a nebulizer treatment. Occupational guy said no each time. My lawyer was concerned as the judge was known to only approve 30% of the hearings he presided over. I got the best Christmas gift finding out I was approved on 12/22/25:-) my back pay would start February 2022!! Received all the back pay on 1/1/26:-) SUCH A RELIEF after 3 years, 10 months, and 21 days!!! We are a family of 5 and I hadn't worked the entire time we were waiting. My husband was doing 50-60 hrs per week as a 911 dispatch supervisor. Thankfully we had his income.

Good Choice

I had heard alot of horror stories, about social security lawyers, that didn’t talk to clients, or cancelled at the last minute, leaving them searching for last minute counsel. This was definately not the issue with Mr. Oliver. He had Several meetings and talks with me, that were over an hour each.... He listened and made questionnaires for my doctors, that helped me get what I needed to prove my Disability. His assistant was very helpful when he was not directly available. he kept things real, and gave me direction, wen I asked. In my hearing, the judge only asked state one question, and that was to clarify what something was, not if they thought I could work, which means he did a good job at questioning me on all subjects.

Knowledgeable and Supportive

After more than a year working with another attorney who could not articulate what I needed to provide, that attorney dropped my case. Fortunately, I quickly found David Oliver. At our very first meeting he listened attentively, took copious notes, and laid out exactly what he would need from me to... present my case to a judge. His staff kept everything organized and I was kept informed every step of the way. I highly recommend him to guide and support you through the process.

Highly recommended- very happy with the outcome *

After two years of trying to resolve this complex case, the hard work, determination and perseverance of the Attorney David Oliver and associates, he finally won my disability case. I'm so happy I can now put this behind me. I also thank your staff which were instrumental and very polite and helpful ...every time I called. I will highly recommend him to anyone who needs help with their case.

Over a year and he stuck with it.

Mr Oliver went above and beyond what I had expected. His team and him helped me file for SSDI for my third time and did all the paperwork for the appeal. I had a consult with him and he warned me that it would be a up hill battle due to my part time employment. He stuck with it and still went to cour...t with it. My court was set for a rehearing because his office staff found proof of conditions dating back to 2013. Mr. Oliver never stopped trying for my case. I would and have recommended him to several people. He is a hell of a lawyer. He is upfront and honest there are no hidden fees. The only difficult part was getting papers from the V.A. (which was easier for me anyway). 5/5 was a easy decision!!
