DO NOT HIRE THIS Lawyer!!!!!!!! I repeat, DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER!!!! He will only acknowledge you to take your money and then pretty much ignore you beyond that. Below are SOME of the reasons why. Please note that the below is not all inclusive. Fee transparency and case handoff I was initiall...y quoted $6,000 by Dougal, after which my case was transferred to Nathan and I was charged an additional $2,500. This transition was not clearly explained, and I did not receive the level of representation I reasonably expected based on those fees. Case management and document handling I was repeatedly asked to resend documents that I had already provided via email and text. This raises concerns about whether my file was being properly maintained and reviewed. I believe this lack of organization directly contributed to increased costs and inefficiencies. Preparation and court appearances I frequently had to remind my attorney of scheduled court dates, and there were multiple instances where he either appeared late and unprepared, or he would have someone stand in for him to request a continuance.... This went on for about a year and it significantly affected my confidence in the representation I was receiving. Lack of notice regarding withdrawal I was not properly informed of Nathan's withdrawal from representation prior to a restitution hearing. As a result, I declined the opportunity to seek alternative counsel under the assumption that Nathan would be representing me. The dude literally reinstated his representation during a court hearing. This had a direct impact on the outcome. Failure to provide discovery materials I requested discovery materials multiple times, including a key quote referenced during proceedings. These were not provided until after the judge had already issued a ruling, which prevented me from meaningfully responding. All in all, this law firm cost me $13,600.00 and I regret every penny of it.

Nathan was my Attorney on a Pro Bono basis. I was already paying for a divorce Attorney. The first words out of Nathan's mouth were a lie. He said to the Judge that I "had made no attempt whatsoever to contact him". I have the dated, very detailed text msg. that was sent nine days prior to the heari...ng. Hearing after hearing, he said not one word in my defense. It went down hill from there. I finally asked him to go to trial, he said "NO". He promised me that the next hearing would be the last and that it would be completely satisfactory to me. He lied. I had to have a major surgery due to stress. A bleeding ulcer, bleeding in my abdomen , a radical hysterectomy, appendectomy, and much more. The recovery was unbearable. I had no idea what was happening. I hired a third attorney, who waited until ten thousand dollars was in his pocket, told me it was too late. After spending approx. $30,000, I had to quit. The case is still open with a warrant for my arrest.

Unfortunately, I am not happy with Mr. Trudeau's services and want to share my feedback in a clear and professional way, based on my own experi...ences. Right from the start, it was clear that Mr. Trudeau didn't prepare enough or work diligently like a good defense attorney should. He told me and my family attorney that the first case against my ex-wife's boyfriend would be easy to win, but during the hearing, he seemed unprepared and acted arrogantly. During the legal proceedings, Mr. Trudeau mostly relied on reading case law and didn't pay enough attention to the specific details of my case. This lack of attention to detail and understanding of the facts hurt his ability to represent me effectively. In the second case against my ex-wife, Mr. Trudeau expressed doubts about our chances of winning. Although he was a bit more prepared this time, he still relied heavily on materials from my family lawyer instead of developing his own strong defense strategy. Sadly, we lost both cases. I decided to appeal the first case, even though Mr. Trudeau disagreed. He then offered a deal from the other side, asking me to drop the case and pay $1700 to cover their attorney fees. I refused to drop the case or pay anything, but Mr. Trudeau convinced me that he could get the $1700 fee waived if I dropped the appeal. Unfortunately, he couldn't keep that promise, and we ended up dropping the appeal and owing the other side $3500 in attorney fees. After seeking the opinions of other lawyers, including one who knows the owner of Mr. Trudeau's firm, it became clear that Mr. Trudeau made several mistakes that led to our negative outcome. This agreement among legal professionals confirms my concerns about Mr. Trudeau's abilities and work ethic. Based on my experiences, I strongly advise against choosing Attorney Nathan Trudeau for legal representation. Instead, I recommend finding another attorney who is dedicated, prepared, and pays attention to detail for a better defense. I hope Mr. Trudeau learns from his mistakes and finds a career path that suits him better. Please remember that this review is based on my own opinion and experiences and should be seen as such.
