I am ashamed that it has taken me this long to write this (I recently came across the Avvo request while deleting old emails). I can't say enough of how thankful I am to have Heather R. and the Lombino*Martino Law Group alongside my boys and I during a most difficult time in our lives. I never belie...ved in divorce, but during this unfortunate time of our lives, I had to retain legal services in order to honor my sons dignities and what was left of mine. From the beginning, Heather was professional, yet genuinely compassionate and understanding of my situation. She was thorough with her clarifying questions, yet respectful. She explained the process and kept her word when she said she would follow-up; and I mean throughout the entire process of almost 2 full years! Heather is a professional lawyer. She is concerned with doing the , "right," thing and following what the law says. Heather was up against an unpleasant, aggresive, opposing counsel in my case and handled it skillfully and smoothly. Heather was compassionate and supportive when things got difficult. ...One minor suggestion would be to explain the entire process to the client when the legal process begins (the legal steps, what could happen, what may not happen, the legal steps of the process, I was confused about what was next, at one time; inquiry, interogatories, etc ). Heather's employees are helpful, kind, and extremely professional. Her office is comfortable, warm and professionally decorated. Heather is easy to reach, and always returned phonecalls/emails. If she could not speak at that moment, she set up a time with me and always called me back. Or, her paralegal got back to me. Heahter is ethical, practical, logical, well educated about the laws and supportive. I would recommend Heather to others for the many reasons I have mentioned. I would go back to Heahter again, if I had questions or needed legal direction.
