I hired Heather to help me with a parenting plan, the issue went back and forth with my son’s dad for over a year. My daughters father began showing interest in her when she was almost a year old, he hired a bully attorney and thought she could threaten me and I would roll over and hand over 1/2 rights to my daughter after him being completely absent and a stranger. His attorney sent me fake paperwork with a cour...t date saying they were going to file for full custody along with provisions due to false allegations. They basically said agree to 1/2 or we’re taking full custody. I was terrified and consulted heather. I was unable to retain her for. When he gave me the papers with a fake court date I hired her the day before this supposed date and turns out they never filed the paperwork it was just a threat. I then received the real date for the hearing infrotn of a commissioner and Her Dad was requesting that I get visitation and he get primary custody of our child. Heather from the first day I called her was very informational and helpful and when this was all over and all that my daughters father was saying about me was disproved, I ended up with primary custody and he now has every other weekend and one weekday visitation over night. Heather was the best attorney I could find, I called other places that were cheaper and they made me feel worse. As soon as I talked to her I knew I wanted her to be my attorney and everytime I had an issue and talked with her, the way she explained things so I could understand made me feel better everytime.
