First consult it was immediately apparent that he was colleague of and had spoken with opposing attorney. He used profanity and attempted to badger me for info to provide to opposing. After his unprofessional attempt to belittle me, he said he was unable to represent, which he knew before waisting my... time to gather information. Hired Thomas Baldwin to do the documents for an uncontested legal separation. The draft of the legal pleadings took some weeks on his part. However, the drafts contained significant errors (addresses incorrectly entered, missing VIN numbers, incorrect parcel number on the home, etc) which I had to ca...tch and for which I was charged. When my husband was putting a lot of pressure on me to check when the changes I submitted to the attorney would be made, I called the attorney's office to explain the situation to the legal secretary because I did not receive responses to my emails to the attorney. She misrepresented the conversation to the attorney who then emailed and stated he would quit my case because he had some high priority trials to attend to and my uncontested agreement was a low priority for him. The office made no mention of their priorities when they asked for the retainer to take the case. Moreover, the attorney informed me that I would not find any other family attorney who would be willing to make my case a priority over other trials they might have. He offered to refund the balance money which was a very small amount and the office mailed it to the wrong address. Somehow, fortunately, the refund check was delivered to me. Not only was I able to hire another attorney right away, but their firm completed my agreement in one day and filed it in court the following day without any mishaps and errors. And did I mention that Thomas Baldwin didn't even have the courtesy to greet me when I saw him at his office while talking to his legal assistant (after I paid the retainer to hire him)? Please save your money, time, and energy and hire someone else.

Tom represented my husband and I in an unexpected attempt to gain custody of my stepchild. Tom was awesome! He was honest, direct and very hardworking.
