David Faber

My husband and I hired David to draft our estate plan soon after we moved to Washington in the spring of 2020. He answered all of our questions, responded to all emails promptly the entire process was quite easy. This happened during Covid shut down and he made arrangements for us to sign our docume...nts from our car so that it was safe. His rates are very reasonable, he charges by the hour rather than a flat fee. That was nice because our case was pretty straight forward and simple, I suspect a flat fee would not have worked out in our favor. Its fair to both the client and the attorney when it's billed by the hour. About a year and half after we drafted our estate plan we decided to make a change to our will. David was super prompt in handling that change for us. We did this right before the holidays and I expected it would be drawn out process. Instead he got it turned around in a couple of days. It was great.

This attorney said he could have my case quickly resolved with a summery judgment. After spending my retainer he changed his mind, saying it may not work. At that point he had no plan so he did nothing except charging me for taking calls. At some point the plaintiff gave up on the suit and my atto...rney told me the case would be dismissed from the court automatically after twelve months. I was not dismissed. I asked my attorney to file a trespass suit against the plaintiff but David said he didn't have time. So again nothing was being done on my behalf. The plaintiff eventually need the case dismissed and managed to do so without paying anything for my legal fees. This attorney did not contact me to inform me that the case was dismissed, I found out myself while talking to Clallam county court. I dont think this attorney is prepared to or knowledgeable enough to take on a case like mine.

David Faber has helped me in two separate legal areas. He drafted the will and planned the estat for myself and wife, doing an excellent job for a fair price. David has also been an immense help to my small business from formulating several service contracts to offering excellent and perceptive... suggestions to changing business structures as my business grew. I would not only recommend David to others in need of business or estate planning, but I would recommend to other members of my family. I have had varied and numerous interactions with attorneys over the years and I appreciate David’s clarity about what is in his scope and what is not.

Mr. Faber was kind, thorough and knowledgeable. He took the time to fully answer any question my husband and I had about our estate plan. We needed some changes made a few months after the finalization of the original documents, and Mr. Faber was happy to make all the changes we needed quickly and ...efficiently. If we ever require legal services in the future, we will absolutely hire Mr. Faber again.

I have a hard time believing the negative reviews on David. He has helped us through a very difficult time in our lives. Having lost a family member, David Faber has shown compassion, been very efficient with ever aspect of settling our estate and worked with us without charging us until we were able... to pay him (at a very reasonable rate.). He has been a godsend to my family at this most difficult time. I find it interesting that these negative trolls won't show themselves. Shame on you.
