Robert Joseph La Rocco

Mr. LaRocco failed to do any work after I hired him in September, 2015. He failed to respond to calls and emails until I sent him a certified letter in January, 2016. When he responded to that he gave me a case number and court date that I later learned was someone else's. In truth, he never filed un...til I called and demanded an immediate meeting, and he filed it 30 minutes before said meeting. I fired him at that point, in April, 2016. I had great difficulty getting my money back, but after almost two months I did, which makes me more fortunate that most. THAT SAID... I filed a grievance with the Washington State Bar Association, ultimately resulting in a two year suspension, with more charges coming.

Hired Robert to handle two cases and promised to file 9 months ago and has not followed through on a single promise he made. He took my $2000 and has not been a man of his word. He lied to me about filing and stated we had court dates then said a month later we did not because he needed to file. S...till waiting and now pursuing a competent attorney. RUN!!!!!

Robert took one month to file the initial paperwork, despite telling me she'd be served perhaps the next day. He cancelled my first hearing without my consent. He then failed to schedule another, return phone calls or emails. He did nothing in six months. Yes, he kept the whole $5000. Then I had... to pay another 5k to another attorney.

$7,000 wanted $10,000 for a hearing, postponed the first one because he was not prepared. This after calling him 20 times to see if he had gotten prepared. 110% lost the hearing and was supposed to Appel but didn't even do that correctly, told us we had 1 year to appeal still. All a lie. Ruined our l...ives.

Retained Robert August 2012 for a simple bankruptcy. We did all our counseling stuff and went on front of the trustee in Sept 2012. Robert assured us it was complete. Find out in 2014 that it was not completed and started the epic run around with him for over two years. Saw him in September promising... he would have a date for us by October that never came. Finally consulted another attorney to find out that since August has sanctions against him preventing him from doing bankruptcies. He neglected to tell us anything knowing full well that he could not perform in the capacity he was hired for. He could have bloody told us rather than continue to string us along. He stopped his malpractice insurance Feb 2016 so suing him is not an option even though he's had $1000 of ours for over 4 years. Looks like small claims court is all we can do. Robert is a fraud of monumental proportions, plain and simple. Stay as far away from this guy as possible.
