Paul Richmond

My case was a bit complicated. I had given my mother temporary guardianship of my son. By law she was supposed to return him to me upon request. Not only did she ignore my repeated requests, she left the state and when I tried to get him she hid him from me. I called law enforcement, but they said th...at, while she was breaking the law, they could not help me without a court order and suggested I contact an attorney. I'm glad I was lucky enough to find Mr. Richmond. He was honest and did not placate me with any guarantees. Nevertheless, he researched state and federal precedents and in less than one month I flew back to WA. to appear in court. I have my son back and I'm so grateful. He answered every email, addressed every concern and was tireless and genuinely seemed to care. On the day of the hearing he was very ill, but he still came to court when he could have sent a substitute. He's a good man and is passionate about justice. Just check out his Facebook posts. Paul Richmond was a pleasure to work with and we will certainly work with him in the future. He was very smart, professional, timely, courteous, and really a great guy. Paul worked with us to have a judgement removed from record. We were well into the home buying process when a very old judgement... was discovered by our title company. The title company advised this must be resolved prior to closing, which was about 2 weeks away. We supposedly owed a couple thousand dollars, but it was a bogus judgement and there were a lot of problems with the procedures followed by both the creditor and the courts. Paul quickly worked with the collection agency and the courts to have the judgement vacated with prejudice. Amazingly, this was all done in time and we were able to buy our first home! If he had not helped us, we would have lost the home because there was a cash buyer ready to swoop in. I cannot explain how grateful we were for his services. It was easily the best money we've ever spent. He was accessible throughout, kept us informed, and resolved our issue within our insane time constraints. We love our new home and we would be living elsewhere if not for Paul. I highly recommend his services.

I was beyond impressed with the overall experience I had with Mr. Richmond. I called with some issues I was having with my former landlord. I spoke directly with Mr. Richmond without delay and he informed me of my rights as a tenant. He went above and beyond to help me get the information I needed ...to get my Security deposit. I followed his instructions and within 5 days of confronting my former land lord and explaining my rights She sent me a check with my entire security deposit. He even took the extra time to send me the laws to support my case. I am beyond grateful for his time and efforts to help me. I strongly recommend him.

Paul took my case during the holiday season. He offered me no legal advice at any point. In court,he was admonished by the commissioner, judge, and GAL for filing late and document dumping. He argued in court that "the deadlines have always been that way" and told the commissioner she was wrong. He c...ost me $20,000 only to prejudice my case and make things worse. Totally and completely unequipped to handle any high conflict custody case. Seems to have poor grasp of court procedure.
