WONDERFUL LAWYER!!!
Paul Richmond has personally helped me out with my landlord problems for a while now. My landlord has previously tried extorting me and even now with the Covid-19 scare, he continues to try and get late fees out of me even though I've been paying the full amount of rent. Paul always has an answer for me and has given me great advice. He's even given me exact laws to recite to my landlord while my landlord is trying to get more money out of me or evict me for hurting his feelings (yes, that did actually happen). I haven't brought my landlord to court because I haven't had to. Every time I have a problem Paul give me great advice and my landlord backs off. I'd strongly recommend Paul Richmond as an attorney.

Immediate involvement, invested solutions.
I was unsure of how to go about fair housing opportunities with my therapy animal, and was facing eviction warnings. In the matter of just one meeting, Paul wrote up a message to my property management citing the laws to have them respect my needs for a therapy animal, and rights as a tenant. Highly recommended, as I felt like I was back in control and could feel at peace in my home once again.

Very Helpful, and Concerned
He gave me direction to other attorneys who could help me, since he no longer practiced in the county where I need representation. He seemed genuinely concerned about my case, asking me many probing questions that made me think more deeply about what I really needed in an attorney. He also sent me a follow-up email with further information that is helpful to my case. I'm thankful for his assistance.

Great attorney who helped with my collaborative divorce
Paul and I worked together for a collaborative divorce process that was somewhat challenging. Being a collaborative process, Paul helped me work through the divorce, paying attention to my needs, as well as keeping the process moving forward. I found it helpful to bounce thoughts and concerns off of him to make sure the decisions I was making were fair and considerate of all parties involved. Paul's very prompt responses to my email, phone calls, and meetings were also greatly appreciated.

Consumer Law
My case involved consumer rights under Consumer Law. It involved an automobile. The car was not suitable for it's intended use and would require extensive repairs beyond it's value to even make it suitable for personal use. Mr. Richmond drafted a letter to the dealership that sold me the vehicle. It was very detailed in the explanation of law's that were likely violated and explanatory of the possible financial impacts the dealership could expect under the law if things proceeded to litigation. Within 3 business day's MR. Richmond received a response from the dealership's attorney offering to settle the issue in our favor. We accepted the offer and the issue was settled in our favor within 5 business day's. All funds that I had expended purchasing and repairing the vehicle were returned 100 %.That is outstanding representation and results.

Professional and kind service
I was desperate to find a lawyer at the last minute. My ex-husband and his lawyer had told me that they would settle out of court for a dispute over me paying my ex-husband maintenance. They changed their minds the day before the court date, deciding to take me to court after all. I did not have a lawyer and didn't know what to do. Mr. Richmond was one of the few lawyers who responded to my calls. He took the burden from me and settled the issues quickly at a reasonable cost. Thank you so much!

Dedicated, and effcient
My case was a bit complicated. I had given my mother temporary guardianship of my son. By law she was supposed to return him to me upon request. Not only did she ignore my repeated requests, she left the state and when I tried to get him she hid him from me. I called law enforcement, but they said that, while she was breaking the law, they could not help me without a court order and suggested I contact an attorney. I'm glad I was lucky enough to find Mr. Richmond. He was honest and did not placate me with any guarantees. Nevertheless, he researched state and federal precedents and in less than one month I flew back to WA. to appear in court. I have my son back and I'm so grateful. He answered every email, addressed every concern and was tireless and genuinely seemed to care. On the day of the hearing he was very ill, but he still came to court when he could have sent a substitute. He's a good man and is passionate about justice. Just check out his Facebook posts. This is his life and he takes it seriously.

Paul Did What We Couldn't Do
We hired Paul to help us with an issue with a major corporation. We had tried to settle with the company, but we were going nowhere fast. After interviewing Paul we knew he would be able to help us, and in fact, he was able to get more than we expected from the corporation involved. We will always be grateful to Paul for being able to help us when we were at our most frustrated and upset! He took over the process, and we were left feeling at peace because he was competently handling the situation. I would highly recommend him to anyone in our area who needs a caring, competent lawyer!

Taking Care of Business
I hired Paul Richmond to assist me with landlord-tenant law issues that I was facing. I was apprehensive of hiring an attorney, thinking that I would be just another case to whoever I hired. However, after speaking with Paul I knew that he was going to take care of business and he did. Paul took care of everything and was always quick to reply to any questions or concerns I had. I highly recommend Paul Richmond and will use his services again.

Professional, attentive, prompt
I hired Paul Richmond as an attorney in relation to a consumer relations issue. He answered my original query promptly, and through the whole process he provided excellent advice on how to proceed. I also appreciated the fact that, since I am not located in Bellingham, I was also able to handle all the transactions (communication and even payment) online, which made things very convenient for me. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Mr. Richmond. He dealt with my issue in a very professional manner, resolved it, and kept me up to date through the whole thing.

Understanding, professional and gets the job done
Mr. Richmond has worked harder than any lawyer I have known. He is representing us in a business civil suit and has been dogged in his pursuits on our behalf. After spending months with another lawyer, we are now making headway with Mr. Richmond representing us. I highly recommend him and am so happy we found him.

Exceptional Legal Service!
I had unexpectedly lost a debt judgment case and was contemplating what if any moves I still had available. Time was running short to exercise my right to appeal the decision. Having recently moved to Bellingham, I had no idea what lawyer I should contact. After extensive research I decided to call Paul Richmond. During that initial phone conference we discussed in detail my challenge. It was mutually determined that time was of the essence regarding this case so Paul cleared his calendar and scheduled an office appointment for me the very next day. As he requested I dropped off my case file that afternoon so that he could review it thoroughly before our meeting. Upon arrival the next day I was impressed with Paul's office. It was professional but not overbearing or opulent. I came to realize the office mirrored well Paul's personality. From that very first visit with Paul I felt extremely comfortable with him. His professional manner throughout the handling of my case was relaxed and sympathetic. In less than a week he was able to negotiate a very fair settlement with the other party. Paul then proceeded to continue to follow-up with that party to make sure the agreed settlement was officially finalized. Needless to say I'm a huge fan of Paul Richmond. I won't hesitate to call on him again for any other legal challenge.

Saved Our House!
Paul Richmond was a pleasure to work with and we will certainly work with him in the future. He was very smart, professional, timely, courteous, and really a great guy. Paul worked with us to have a judgement removed from record. We were well into the home buying process when a very old judgement was discovered by our title company. The title company advised this must be resolved prior to closing, which was about 2 weeks away. We supposedly owed a couple thousand dollars, but it was a bogus judgement and there were a lot of problems with the procedures followed by both the creditor and the courts. Paul quickly worked with the collection agency and the courts to have the judgement vacated with prejudice. Amazingly, this was all done in time and we were able to buy our first home! If he had not helped us, we would have lost the home because there was a cash buyer ready to swoop in. I cannot explain how grateful we were for his services. It was easily the best money we've ever spent. He was accessible throughout, kept us informed, and resolved our issue within our insane time constraints. We love our new home and we would be living elsewhere if not for Paul. I highly recommend his services.

“Exceptional Professional Service"
Just after Christmas I received a letter from Mandarich law group concerning a debt that was previous paid over a year ago. I challenged the debt by writing directly to Mandarich law group, out of retaliation I was given a summons a few weeks latter. After searching for counsel I came a cross Paul Richmond on Avvo. After a short phone call will Mr. Richmond the ball was rolling with my case. To make a long story short my case was dismissed by Mandarich Law group. I am so pleased with the professional and speedy service. I couldn't have asked for a better out come. Easy to talk to and the communication was great. It truly gets no better than this! I highly recommend Paul Richmond Law. It was a pleasure to have him represent me. Thank you Paul.

Thank you Paul
Paul is my attorney and I could not be happier saying that. I really don't feel I could have achieved a better outcome with out his representation. Paul had a no BS approach to myself and my thought processes as well as every other aspect of the case., I could not have been better represented. I gave away so much before with my past representation. Paul delivered a fair conclusion. I live several time zones away and needed representation in Whatcom county in 2014-15 I have never met Paul in person, at first I was quite worried this might be a problem you would never have known he was not right down the block with how seamlessly he handled the case, questions or work that needed attending to in the morning were replied to in the morning, afternoon or evening. He kept me informed, sent me drafts asked if I had improvements and accepted criticism. I really felt like I was involved and a partner in my case, a much welcomed and different experience than working with my past attorneys. I gave 5 stars in every category because he earned every one. Thank you Paul

Landlord Tenant Issues
I was beyond impressed with the overall experience I had with Mr. Richmond. I called with some issues I was having with my former landlord. I spoke directly with Mr. Richmond without delay and he informed me of my rights as a tenant. He went above and beyond to help me get the information I needed to get my Security deposit. I followed his instructions and within 5 days of confronting my former land lord and explaining my rights She sent me a check with my entire security deposit. He even took the extra time to send me the laws to support my case. I am beyond grateful for his time and efforts to help me. I strongly recommend him.

Richmond brings the best to the table
I am extremely grateful to Richmond for his intercession during my trial after I was in a car accident and received multiple citations that didn't apply including reckless driving that would have been detrimental to both my record and my finances as a young college student. With his help my fines were all revoked and my record is clean because of his knowledge in both the law and local systems. His reputation in the courtroom and with the other attorneys was the reason my case was considered seriously. He represented my reputation and situation accurately and truthfully so that the evidence convinced the judge that the fines were not applicable and that my accident was truly an accident and not intentional reckless driving. I thank him for his efforts and appreciate his work.
