Kristi concentrates her practice in the areas of estate and trust planning, business transition planning, elder law planning (including Medicaid and guardianship planning), and probate and trust administration. She enjoys working with engineers, medical professionals, and small business owners to assist them with their specific needs. Kristi’s estate planning experience includes preparing wills and trusts (revocable and irrevocable), prenuptial agreements, durable and general powers of attorney (health care and financial), forming family limited liability companies, assisting clients with lifetime gifting, and general Medicaid or guardianship needs. She enjoys taking a client’s wishes and translating them into a cohesive estate and business transition plan. In addition, Kristi assists clients with the difficult issues that arise in transitioning assets after the death of a family member or friend through any trust or probate administrations process.
She graduated (summa cum laude) from Buena Vista University, then received her Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law in 2014. She received her Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Washington Law School in 2018.
Kristi is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the King County Bar Associations, and QLaw. She was elected to chair the WSBA Tax Sections’ Young/New Lawyer Committee in 2017, and the WSBA Tax Section's Pro Bono Committee in 2019.
When not practicing law, Kristi enjoys reading, baking shortbread, and volunteering with the University of Washington Federal Tax clinic, where she assists low income taxpayers in controversies with the IRS.
