Patronizing a Prostitute
Mr. Ransom did an amazing job on my case! He was able to have case brought down from a serious charge that could threaten my future job career to a charge of disorderly conduct (loud party/noise). All I have to do is be on probation for 1 year with good behavior until I finish a class called OPS that is 10 week long (once a week), and then my probation will become inactive. Then this misdemeanor of patronizing a prostitute will be amended to the charge stated earlier. He always answered my phone calls and any question I had, and did an amazing job. Granted court was slow, but that is just the U.S. court system, and I am happy I didn't rush into anything because it could have been worse for myself. I only had to pay $300, but with the addition of probation fees ($100 a month), but it is better then the overall charge of $1000 the court wanted to charge initially for a misdemeanor. Overall, Alexander Ransom did an amazing job and I am glad I made the choice to call him.

Alex Is A Most Excellent Lawyer And Human Being. I Was Being Charged With A Crime That I Didn’t Commit. Another Lawyer That Represented The Accuser Interfered With The Case And Wanted Me To Agree To Some Really Ridiculous Demands. Even Though The Lawyer Tried To Convince Alex That I Commited The Crime, Alex Perservered With An Eventual Dismissal. I’d Definitely Recommend Alex To Anyone In His Field Of Expertise. Reckless Endangerment
Mr. Ransom was extremely helpful in getting my punishment for my crime to be proportional to what I had done. My charge came by way of a completely unintended action that resulted in an unfortunate accident, and Alex was able to get the court to see that my action truly was an accident. This was my first time dealing with the law aside from simple traffic stops, and I was really worried as to how I would be able to accurately represent myself to the court. That's when I decided to hire Mr. Ransom, and through his positive connections with members of the court in Bellingham, and his ability to navigate tricky legalese, we were able to come to a successful end. I would definitely recommend Mr. Ransom to anyone I know.

Felony Charges against me were painless and dismissed with Alexander Ransom on my side
As we all know, people make mistakes. I was one of those people that acted out of his character one unfortunate evening and picked up two felony harassment charges in the process. I went to Alex the week after the incident and after talking with many lawyers, i knew that alex was the right one for me seconds after meeting him. I felt immidiately comfortable with him. Alex is the type of guy that really cares about you and the case and he really seemed like he cared about me as a person as well. He is good at making you feel very comfortable with the situations and possible outcomes and is someone that gets down to business and also someone that you can joke around with to make you feel at ease (which is important when you are facing possible long term jail time). Long story short, my case was dismissed and i could be on a small amount of probation outside the state in my own city which was really important to me and he made that happen. Also i want to point out that Alex has answered every single phone call and email almost immediately. Even when you are in a constant state of anxiety and however much you think you are bugging him he picks up the phone every time even for the little things. AWESOME attorney and AWESOME all around guy. i would hire him for any problem i ever had. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This was my first experience with having trouble with the law or ever hiring a lawyer. Alex went above & beyond to help me, even before I had hired him he gratuitously gave me excellent advise on what to do. He quoted me a very reasonable price, and when the case appeared more difficult than at first thought he stuck to his original quote. I brought him a case that could have easily ended my career path early, and I had a prosecutor who was tough on my case, but with Alex's reasonable plea bargain my case will be dismissed in one year & I will not see jail time. I made calls to him fairly often leading up to my pretrial and he always would get back to me with an answer within the same day. I had to reschedule my pretrial twice on the spot once at court and in both situations Alex understanding, sympathetic, and able to quickly & effectively reschedule my pretrial. Beyond an excellent lawyer, Alex is also an excellent human being with lots of compassion. I'm glad to have hired him, couldn't have asked for more!

I was appointed Alex Ransom as my attorney and i am so glad i was. He was able to get my case dismissed after working with me to build a great Merritt package. Logical, Practical, Superb Attorney
Alex, from initial interview to trial was so outstanding I was able to finally breathe. He worked with me on the cutting edge to prove my innocence. Jury selection was fair as could possibly be. Smart, Aggressive and Professional
Mr. Ransom is an intelligent and aggressive defense attorney who takes the fight to them! I was facing serious accusations which stemmed from a divorce and custody battle. 4th of July parking fiasco
I was at the Bellingham 4th of July fireworks display. After the event I walked to my vehicle and proceeded to leave. As I knew the traffic would be horrible, I parked near the exit of the parking area. A flagger hired by the city motioned me to head back into the congested parking area. I could see there was a break in the traffic and proceeded the obvious direction towards the exit. The flagger pretended that she had been hit and convinced police officers that I had indeed struck her. No contact could have been made as I steered my vehicle away from the flagger, not at her. The police tried to pin a felony hit and run on me. Alex was able to get two of the three charges dropped and no felony charges incurred. He was tenacious in his journey to find the facts. Although the police officers were not truthful in the events that occured, Alex was able to debunk the story of the supposedly injured flagger. She had tried this act several times before. Alex was able to avoid a trial and negotiated an Agressive Driving course and jail alternative with EHM. My record had been unblemished and Alex was able to persuade the Prosecuter and Judge that this was a one time occurrence. With the testemony of the Police officers siding with the fake injured flagger, the outcome was as good as good be expected. I was framed by the flagger and Alex was able to persuade the Prosecuter and Judge that a reduced sentence was in order.

***NOT GUILTY UNDER 10 MINUTES***
I hired Alexander Ransom immediately after I was charged with reckless endangerment. It was a difficult case as I was facing up to 1 year in jail, a 5,000 fine, and 5 years of probation and anger management classes. It wasn’t easy as it appeared that the criminal justice system wanted me to plead guilty or even get convicted of the charges despite the lack of evidence by the prosecutors. It seems everything was stacking up against me. I ended up going to trail. Mr. Ransom was able to prove my innocence by the lack of evidence in the case. As well as no credible statements by the witnesses during trial. Mr. Ransom was a dedicated and experienced attorney. The jury came back with a not guilty verdict in less than ten minutes! I highly recommend Alexander Ransom as he is a man of conviction. He seeks the truth and will fight for you. Hiring Alexander Ransom was the best choice I made as I believe no other attorney would have put as much effort and time in proving my innocence as he did. A bad day at the boat launch.
I was charged with Reckless Driving under RCW46.64.500, also Disorderly Conduct. Together these charges represent a chance of jail and hefty fines. It took some time, Prosecutors kept coming up with different "witnesses", Alex interviewed them, found the Prosecutors case lacking. While this was going on I felt that I was being Railroaded by the Prosecutors. The out come of the case was quite satisfactory. The Judge accepted the City Prosecutor's Dismissal, reductions and $250.00 fine recommendations.

Alex Ransom got my criminal charge dropped.
I hired Alex after being charged with Disorderly Conduct for fighting. I felt I was the one that was wronged in the incident, and he agreed. Following Alex's advice, we waited out the other party involved with continuances, and because alcohol was a factor, he recommended I do a Alcohol Evaluation, which I did. As a result, Alex was able to negotiate with the prosecution and get the charged dropped from a criminal offence, to a mere $250 fine for being loud in public. Thanks to Mr. Alex Ransom, I still have no criminal record.

"Rescinded" the No-Contact-Order!
I went to prison after violating a No-Contact-Order between me and my girlfriend. I got prison time because we cooperated together in violating the no-contact-order a bunch of times!!! We are in love!!! (For your information the whole situation was crazy and blown way out of proportion.) Anyway the stupid no-contact-order was still in place after I got out of prison! I hired Alex to "rescind" it and make it go away. He was pretty sharp because he got the police reports on all the past violations. He argued to the judge that all the past violations were mutual and I wasn't stalking my girlfriend or hurting her or any other BS. The judge said she usually doesn't dismiss no-contact-orders but she would in this case because it was made clear that even though my probation was revoked I still did lots of jail. My girlfriend showed up and read from a letter Alex helped write. And we won!!!! Alex, thanks a MILLION for persuading the judge to dismiss the no-contact-order between me and my girlfriend.

Made it Go Away
I won't say much because my charges of Communicating With a Minor are embarrassing. But I really must thank Alex for getting my case dismissed. Alex convinced the prosecutor I was a different person when the charges happened. We put together a "merit package" for me to show I was on the up & up. And I stayed out of trouble. Alex stayed in the prosecutor's face for months. It worked. Alex knows what he's doing.
