Adam is an excellent Animal law atorney!

We were facing losing our dog, or being forced out of the city of Seattle. Once Adam learned all the facts in our case he worked quickly to negotiate an agreement with the city. I also appreciated how Adam kept us apprised of what was going on, and what expenses were being incurred. He acted very ...responsibly with our retainer fees, and actively worked to help keep costs down.

I couldn't believe my dog bit her...

My worst nightmare occurred when my very friendly dog bit/mouthed a senior woman that brushed past us while walking on the sidewalk. She reported it to animal control. I'm so grateful to Adam for listening to all the details regarding my incident and working with me to get my dog out of trouble as ...quickly as possible. He did a masterful job and I highly recommend him.

Persistent

Adam is very knowledgeable, thorough, and had a good rate. He offered excellent advice every step of the way. He was not discouraged by Zurich insurance company stonewalling.

Defense for my dangerous dogs

I was in the unenviable position of having a dog that bit another dog. And because my second dog was at the scene, both dogs were being declared dangerous by the city and the restrictions they would have to live under were fairly strict. In addition, it was questionable whether I would be able to kee...p both dogs. I hired Mr.. Karp to appeal the dangerous dog declarations. After reviewing my case, he gave me his honest opinion of my chances, what was reasonable and what could be negotiated. He worked with the court to negotiate a resolution that allowed me to keep both dogs, eased enclosure restrictions, and put the dog that was guilty by association on probation. I agreed to keep the dangerous dog declaration on the offending dog. If we had lost the appeal, I would have been forced to give up one of the dogs, and that was unacceptable. I've done my best to ensure my dogs are well-socialized and trained: interaction with lots of other dogs and people, AKC training classes, trips to the dog park, etc. But in the end, they are animals and incidents can happen. If you ever find yourself in this same situation where your good dog does a bad thing, consult or hire Mr. Karp immediately. He will explain your options and provide straightforward thoughts about your case. He'll communicate regularly and always keep you in the loop. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Karp; my experience has been nothing but positive.
