He knows his stuff!

Adam was recommended to me by an acquaintance who had lost her dog to an attack at a dog park. She praised him for his hard work so I decided to contact him after we lost our dog to an attack in our front yard. He was extremely responsive and spoke with me on the phone for at least 20 minutes before... I had even officially hired him. We were being mistreated by the people’s insurance company, who we were trying to get to pay our extensive vet bills (over 10k). After speaking with Adam he put me instantly at ease. We decided to officially hire him to represent us in our case and thank goodness we did. From that point on he handled everything, and always explained things to us in terms we could understand. He was passionate and we could tell he wanted justice for us. He dealt with insurance adjusters and other attorneys for weeks. He was also sympathetic to my severe anxiety in dealing with this process after losing my pup. When this whole nightmar started, before we had Adam, we were told if our dog survived they would cover the vet fees but if she died we would get nothing. She died and had we not had Adam we would have over $10,000 on our credit card gaining consistent interest. Thanks to him we can pay off our debt and move forward from this horrific incident. I feel like now that it’s over, we can move on with grieving our sweet baby. My son, husband and I miss her so much and we are thankful Adam could help us through this difficult time.

Wanted and needed the best, got him.

After a year and a summer of neighbors opening fences and tormenting our service dogs and trainees, three of our dogs showed up to play in the sprinklers one street over. A dog that lived there got injured on a broken sprinkler head and died and my dogs were blamed for killing it, despite no one seei...ng it happen, no autopsy performed, no body of the the dead dog kept, no photographs of the dog, the injury, nothing, not even any injury to the other two dogs at the house or my three, despite animal control declaring my dogs dangerous. I was even intially denied to question the vet who looked at the dog during the first hearing. Not long after, animal control illegally seized our service dogs based off a neighbor, who they knew we already had problems with, lying, the dogs were threatened to be destroyed. I needed and wanted the best. I googled dog lawyers and news cases and found Adam. Every article had him winning. Exactly what I needed. I called him and spoke with him. He explained his experience, costs, and told us not to worry. We had a hearing set six days after the seizure and literally in a matter of minutes, the dangerous dog declaration was thrown out and I was on my way to get out dogs from the pound. At that point we wanted to go after the county for the clear illegal actions. We recovered our costs for the first part, the dangerous dog declaration, immediately. The punitive damages for six days of illegal seizure took longer, but ended to my satisfaction. Adam was always prompt on returning messages, calls or email. He billed fairly and accurately. You won't find a better animal law lawyer in the Northwest.

Adam Karp is a Posthumous Dog's Best Friend

Note - Google: KingCast, Peppers and Uncle Adam. KingCast, Peppers and Uncle Adam Karp celebrate settlement of Livi the Wonderdog v. Blankety-Blank Kennel We were clients of Attorney Karp since the last week of December, 2016 when our beloved Livi, a 4 y/or German Shorthaired Pointer, was kille...d in a bailment situation. What I dig about Adam is that he is an innovator. He largely pioneered a genre of law, or substantially expanded a genre of law to reflect a reality about the full meaning that our pets have to us, particularly those of us who are not championing children. Unlike many more traditional lawyers he remains flexible in his approach, and as a lawyer who has dealt with scads of lawyers on my side and across from me, I appreciate that. Translation: We argued a few times but came to an even deeper mutual respect. And that is what life is all about. Respect. Understanding. Justice in the name of Livi the Wonderdog, moving on toward firing up some other initiatives to protect dogs this summer that I will not directly reference in this space. Adam will be tracking that as well. Cheers!

Forever grateful

Adam was amazing, and I would highly recommend him. He was professional, kind, and very helpful. He always responded quickly, and made sure everything was taken care of. He is thorough, honest, and an obviously kindhearted person. I am extremely grateful to him, and would not hesitate to work wit...h him again in the future.

Adam Karp

Adam is an amazing attorney. I found him to be fair and honest from start to finish. Adam did something quite special for the vast numbers of people that came to know the case on social media -- he created a Facebook group page with filings, pleadings, and hearing results from both sides to provi...de open discussion. Nothing was hidden – the whole story was available for anyone to review and decide for themselves. Adam is a man of integrity and will work hard for what is right and fair and just. I thank Adam for his compassion and caring during the emotional low points – he was always calm and reassuring. He has a great command of the English language, and his oral arguments show his passion for the rights of animals and their owners. I highly recommend Adam Karp.
