Adam has your back

It was clear from the beginning that Adam wanted us to be able to keep our dog, and at the same time he was always clear with us what to expect and what was realistic. It was helpful that Adan had good relationships with the City of Seattle. We highly recommend Adam for any animal law needs.

Adam Karp Helped Us Keep Our Dog

We had an unfortunate incident with our dog right after a stressful move to Seattle that resulted in the City of Seattle preliminarily declaring him "dangerous." Any dog deemed "dangerous" has to be relocated outside of the city or euthanized. We were devastated. Through a recommendation from a frien...d of a friend, we found Adam Karp. We are so thankful for Adam. He helped us every step of the way to settle with the city. We have no doubt that if we had tried to settle with the city ourselves, we would not have been as, or perhaps at all, successful. The process was easy and we felt informed throughout. We put a retainer down to hire Adam and then set up a trust that he billed out of. He basically took over negotiations from there. He was respectful with our trust and transparent with his hours and time spent so we always felt our money was being used appropriately. We never met in person with Adam, but instead did everything via email. Neither my husband nor I have any legal experience, so there were often issues or terminology for which we needed clarification. Adam was very responsive and patient with all of our questions. He was persistent and thorough, frequently following-up with the city to keep the settlement moving on track. In the end, he was able to work out a settlement for us that allowed us to remain with our dog in the city as long as we followed certain measures of restraining our dog. Long story short, we love our dog so much and believed that with time and training he will work through his anxiety. All we needed was a chance to have that time with him to work with him, which Adam was able to get us. Since then, we've worked with a trainer (that Adam recommended) and have seen much improvement. Thank you, Adam.

Adam could not have been more technically skilled or more compassionate and caring for my sweet little miniature poodle Gucci. He was motivated by caring and understanding that our animals deserve the same consideration and protection as do humans. Anyone who can secure Adams help will be fortunate t...hat’s for sure. Caring and skilled lawyer

Good experience

Adam was very helpful ad responsive to all my questions and concerns over the past few years as settled a dog bite claim. He acted in professional yet stern matter in dealing with the dog owners and was able to get a us a fair settlement.
