I hired Darren based upon the firm claiming to understand narcissism. Upon meeting Darren I explained an assault against me in public that was key to my divorce and custody case. It wasn’t addressed. My divorce was high conflict, yet Darren’s voice mail and staff claimed he was in court all week. H...e answered my calls and emails usually by Friday afternoon-which was too late to handle legal matters. I handled legal matters by trying to put out fires myself which isn’t professional in a legal case. I was in a position to accept threats, accusations and court orders which I did with no representation. I walked out of the first financial negotiation of my own accord after being threatened by my ex the previous evening by text and by his lawyer being aggressive in a threatening way during negotiations. I accepted the second financial negotiation. I was encouraged by Darren to sign a legal paper that was not fully explained to me. That legal paper ties me to my ex husband until my youngest daughter is 18 and has cost me tens of thousands of dollars. Five years later, my divorce continues to harm me financially and emotionally.
