Aimee Louise Trua

Like another reviewer, I find Aimee to be very disorganized and rude. After my divorce court hearing, she abruptly resigned as my attorney with no explanation when there were errors in the court ruling that had to be addressed. She often sends communication to the opposing counsel without my consen...t, and I believe I would have had a very different outcome with another law firm. I now have to spend more money to appeal.

We had a terrible experience with Aimee. She was representing us on a child support trial for a full time student. She is rude and lacks basic sense of compassion. Doesnt communicate clearly. She didnt spend any time with us to explain the steps or set the right expectations. After the court order, w...hich was not at all favorable or aligned with our expectations, she walked away without talking to us about possible appeals etc. Overall, just a bad experience.

Aimee did a good job representing me in my divorce. I was completely new to the process and she helped me understand what steps to take. I was the respondent in the case and Aimee seemed to genuinely empathize with my situation. She was calm during the difficult situation, which helped. She clearl...y understood the Snohomish County court system, its commissioners and judges, and shared that information with me in terms of what I should expect. My only issue in working with her was in the exchange of the many documents in a court case. Scans were often crooked, pages were missing and often had to be re-sent, and edits were cumbersome. In 2016 it would be nice if collaborating on editing responses and sharing documents were easier.

Ms Trua has represented me twice now (both for divorces) and the results were very satisfactory. I felt her preparation (of her work, and through the questions she asked for me) helped put our side in a very good position. Her insights into the opposing side were accurate and useful. Ms Trua li...stened to me, incorporated my thoughts and research, and helped me prepare for the challenges ahead. She was personable and supportive at a time when I really needed that to pull through my situations. I would recommend Ms Trua for an attorney. I am thankful she was mine.
