Hired Erica and her team to help me with the custody of my child. During the initial consultation with her, she seemed to know what needs to be done right away: "You need a restraining order, go to courts, we'll garnish your ex's salary for child support and lawyer fees, etc etc". It turned out that ...half of this was not even necessary nor accurate, nor in their ability to garnish wages as they told me they'd do. It was all done and said just to expand this all process longer so that I would be paying them more for longer. Erica, by the way, never even was my lawyer - she gave this case to another lawyer who works for her and never even told me - I realized this only when I went to court. I was paying for two lawyers as Erica always overviewed what others did. All the communication with them was via email and it only created additional confusion - if I needed their advice I'd only have to email. Towards the end it seemed that they either were not reading my emails carefully, or never had time to read and listen to me. Multiple times they did whatever they wanted to instead of what I was asking them to do (or not to do) to make my case go faster in order to save my money and time. Never listened that I wanted to go to mediation instead of a trial - they tried to convince me that I will only waste time and money and will never come to an agreement with my ex and that they strongly recommend me to push for a trial. I clearly stated multiple times that I couldn't afford a $30k trial being a single mom - they didn't want to hear this. I wrote a long email explaining that it's been a year since I've been trying to get final orders, I kept paying monthly bills to them without seeing any results, spent almost $20k for a RO and temporary orders for parenting and nothing else (only emails back and forth with them) - I received an email from Erica saying that she saw my email and will get back to me shortly. One month 'shortly' after, I received her email - quite a few paragraphs email with my sentences taken out of few emails as a proof to me that I am wrong, that I am hurting her feelings saying that I do not see any results of their job and that if I am not happy (that they're taking their time and my money for nothing, or that they're charging me for 2 words emails), they can no longer 'help' me. Ended up finding a mediator and closing this case just my ex and I ourselves for free, versus additional $6k that Erica was asking from me or going to trial.

Erica and her team have been nothing short of phenomenal!!! I tried taking my child's mother to court 3 times after she kidnapped her and was unsuccessful because I had no idea how to properly navigate the court systems before I finally bit the bullet and looked into hiring an attorney. The fight was long, this custody battle has been hard, 2 years ago I started out with a 4 hour visit a week (super unfair) and now 2 years later with the help of Erica, Dona and their fabulous team I now have full custody of my daughter and I'm so grateful because I couldn't have done any of this without them. Not because it wasn't possible but because I was so lost without them and they have so much knowledge and access to things I had no idea of! They've helped me in so many ways! Since hiring them we have been undefeated in court. Things got tough dealing with my case, they continued to stand by me and help guide me during this process and were so punctual, I remember one day I emailed Dona (Paralegal) and was like wait you guys that thing was due 2 days ago what do we do now?!!!! Look no further! Put her on retainer right away! I had a very complicated case, child custody, divorce, abuse, relocation out of state, child support, spousal support, and a very hard ex who dragged his feet every step of the way. Erica communicated to me via email, text, phone daily while in the thi...ck of court hearings, emergency motions and relocating. She is down to earth, yet professional, fights hard and doesn't take no for an answer. She even went so far as to give me a ride home from mediation and court a number of times.
