Stelmakh team - Simply amazing people!

Working with Katya and her team on my O-1A petition has been a rewarding experience. As a founder and medtech entrepreneur preparing to move operations to the U.S., I needed a firm that could navigate the legal complexity and understand the complexity of my professional background: international gran...ts, academic research, patents, and innovation in point-of-care diagnostics. Katya brought clarity and strategic insight. Maddalena’s dedication to building a detailed and compelling petition was remarkable. She patiently worked through my evidence and crafted a thorough case that truly reflected the breadth of my work. What I appreciated most was their care, support, and responsiveness throughout the process, especially as I was juggling timelines from abroad. Thanks to their expertise, my O-1A petition was approved. I recommend Katya and her team to fellow founders and scientists seeking serious, experienced immigration counsel who understand both legal complexity and innovation.

Our Immigration Journey with Stelmakh & Associates

When my wife and I first reached out to Stelmakh & Associates, we were trying to figure out the best long-term path for staying in the U.S. I was on an H-1B visa that would expire in a couple of years, and we were exploring whether O-1A, EB-1A, or EB-2 NIW would be the right choice. Katya walked us t...hrough both options in detail and helped us decide to move forward with the EB-2 NIW, based on our current goals and timeline. Even with a strong profile, including a Master’s from NYU, work in machine learning, published patents, peer-reviewed articles, and judging experience, we received an RFE. It was disappointing at first, but Karen was incredibly responsive and reassuring throughout. The legal team worked closely with me to craft a detailed response that clarifies the national importance of my future ML consulting business and reinforces my qualifications. Thanks to the team’s guidance and hard work, the case was approved. This process is not easy, and every detail matters. We’re very grateful to have had a legal team that understood both the immigration landscape and how to present our case with clarity and care. Katya and her team helped us take a big step forward. We absolutely recommend this firm.

Strongly recommend Katya Stelmakh & team

I had a very positive experience working with Stelmakh & Associates (Katya, Dmitry, & team) on my EB-1A petition. My case was particularly challenging because many of my achievements and my field is highly technical and difficult to explain to a non-specialist audience. From the very beginning, K...atya and Dmitry demonstrated an impressive combination of deep legal expertise and the rare ability to translate complex technical accomplishments into clear, compelling language that a layperson could easily understand. Thanks to their exceptional work, my petition was approved. I wholeheartedly recommend Stelmakh & Associates to anyone pursuing an EB-1A!

O1-A visa petition

I worked with Diego and the team at Stelmakh & Associates on my O-1A visa petition, and the experience was excellent. While the process took a little time to get going, once underway, the quality of the work and the level of commitment were outstanding. Diego was exceptional—efficient, knowledgeab...le, and clearly invested in the success of the petition. He worked diligently to build a strong case, crafting a persuasive narrative that aligned my credentials perfectly with the job description. His attention to detail and strategic insight significantly strengthened the petition. Despite a slow start, everything was completed and submitted within our original timeline—and the petition was ultimately approved. I’m very pleased with the outcome and would confidently recommend Diego and his team to anyone pursuing an O-1 visa.

Remarkable experience with Katya and team

am delighted to share that my EB1A petition has been approved. Many thanks to Katya and the entire team. Sanjana deserves special recognition for her hard work and attention to detail in compiling the petition and accompanying documentation. Thank you to Vanessa, Darya, and Jhanier for the support. ...Finally, Katya, thank you for making recommendations and structuring everything. Your suggestions and guidance are really useful and insightful. I would not be here without your constant support. The team helped me present my work in product strategy, analytics, and healthcare data transformation clearly and compellingly. I especially appreciated the thoughtful approach to highlight my leadership, publications, and broader impact in the field. The process was methodical, and the support throughout made a real difference. If you are considering filing an EB1A petition, I highly recommend Stelmakh & Associates
