An Amazing Team

I worked with with Mr. Hemmat and his team (his associates Anna Linden & Yina Finch are amazing!). They held my hand through an extremely stressful time in my life. After some bad experiences with prior attorneys, I had lost hope of ever finding a legal team that met my needs. But Steve and hi...s team really care about the wellbeing of their clients, and the outcome of their cases. Highly recommend looking for a legal team that cares.

An Amazing Team

I hired the Hemmat Team to represent me in a challenging legal matter that resolved a few months ago. I am not afraid to say I would have been lost without their care, compassion, & guidance. Good counsel costs money, but I am so glad I got what I paid for.

Divorce Review

This was my first divorce and they’ve been helpful in easing the process. The crew has worked efficiently and has always kept me updated on what was happening and going to happen. Instructions and explanation of procedures were clear. They’ve clarified any problems I had and it was an overall great a...nd easy experience. I was confident that things were dealt with professionally and didn’t have any stress throughout the process. Overall, an amazing crew.

Great Attorney

Mr. Hemmat provided clear and honest guidance to navigate me through a tough divorce with jurisdiction and child custody complexities between two states. He and his team always provided timely feedback, and he would consistently make himself available for questions. Mr. Hemmat did a exemplary job a...ligning our legal approach with my personal goals, while also being a calming voice of reason throughout the process. I would highly recommend Mr. Hemmat to others.

Seeking a Domestic Violence Order of Protection

Steve Hemmat, attorney and his excellent paralegal John Avi Socha helped our son to secure an order of protection against his ex-girlfriend. Before we hired Steve Hemmat we tried to navigate the judicial system independently. We are educated people and one would think we could figure this system out... given the many, many guides provided by the court system yet THIS IS NOT the case and please pay good attention to what I am saying here. Hiring an excellent attorney such as Steve Hemmat is worth the cost; which was reasonable as he and John are very efficient and intentionally work to keep costs down. Navigating the courts outside of a pandemic would be difficult. During a pandemic with offices closed, everything is online, via email with very slow turn around times, legal jargon, multiple forms to complete and to enter is truly overwhelming. Steve and John took all of this on as they are experts in their field. Steve and John were always available when I phoned and if not as they may be in a meeting, John would always email me to let me know he could take emails and could respond this way, so I would not have to wait for a response. This made such a difference for me as this was a very emotional and frightening time as my son was in danger. John and Steve listened and assured me throughout the experience with rational direction to help me trust the process. They prevailed! The protection order is in place for a year and my son can begin again. I highly recommend Steve Hemmat attorney to anyone. He and John Avi Socha make a great team. I do not believe we would have had the same outcome had we not hired them.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"Steven and I worked together as opposing counsel for parents who had been at loggerheads in a child relocation matter due to years of acrimony between the parents. The acrimony had essentially made it so the parents were unable to communicate with each other or trust each other. I was impressed with Steven's ethics, care, patience, and professionalism in guiding the parties to a satisfactory resolution of all claims and setting the parents up for success going forward. I look forward to working with Steven again, and certainly would refer him to potential clients in need of an excellent family law attorney."

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I worked together with Steve on a difficult parentage case and was impressed by his knowledge, experience, and client skills. Steve was clearly familiar with every issue in the case, as well as opposing counsel and the judge. Although he was busy, he communicated with his client on a daily basis. I have great confidence in Steve, and refer clients to him on a regular basis."
