Joanna is very professional and is a great listener and communicator. She is helping me respond to combative situation and I'm very grateful for her help. I would highly recommend her services to anyone. Her office is full of books about conflict resolution and high-conflict people/how to respond to... them appropriately which I think is great. It's also very good that she is a mediator as well as an attorney because she gives advice that protects you in all scenarios. She's definitely one of the best and extremely intelligent and knowledgeable about the law. Joanna helped me finalize a mediated divorce. My ex and I worked through the majority of the issues (over a year) with a wonderful mediator who provided me with Joanna's contact information at the end of the process. What I appreciated is Joanna also wanted to make things work smoothly and not "fight..." a battle for no reason. Her fees were reasonable and she did not over bill. I found her kind and compassionate, but also very smart. I returned to Joanna a year into my divorce with some issues ( as my ex was re-marrying) and she listened, provided support and information and referred my ex and I and his new wife to a fantastic counselor who was able to help us move through the bumps. Throughout the process she provided me with balanced council that was smart, kind and thoughtful.

Joanna helped me in a long and complex (almost two years total length) custody and dependency case involving two children.
