I was dissatisfied with several aspects of his services: Managing Workload/Procrastination: When my case was not handled in a timely manner, this was his response “You’re not the only client I have. I took you on as a favor. (I had b...een referred to his colleague who was not available). I’ve been staying at the office until 10 p.m.” Communication Skills & Professionalism: Cold, impersonal interactions with inadequate explanations. I never felt as if we were on the same page. I felt as if he were my adversary rather than my advocate. I prepared spreadsheets with the data he requested, then he recreated the same spreadsheets. When I challenged him on this duplication of my efforts and the additional fees, I was given the excuse that “two eyes are better than one”. Meeting in cramped quarters littered with files on floor, interruptions, small computer screen (difficult to read the many numbers).

I've consulted Darek on numerous matters involving offshore tax compliance and have referred many clients to him related to offshore tax compliance and have been consistently impressed with his knowledge of the rules, his compassion for the clients and his practical solutions to difficult, complex si...tuations.
