I was in a hit and run accident. My insurance company is known for paying out very little and most times having to be sued instead of settling. I did not have "PIP" but did have uninsured motorist. I was informed by the insurance company when I signed up that I really did not need PIP because ...I had medical included in my coverage. Turned out after my accident it really was not much due to the fact that I have permanent damage and will be on medication for the rest of my life and require more treatments.
