Hardworking & Great Outcome

Robin Shishido is an incredible attorney! When I first came to her with my legal issue, I was overwhelmed and scared and she made me feel like my case was totally taken care of. More than that, she did her due diligence and always kept me in the loop. She made me feel like we were a team and that jus...tice was inevitable— in my circumstances, at the time, that was a huge sense of relief. I’m completely satisfied with how my case concluded and I feel she and I will still have a good connection going into the future.

Helpful, responsive, and took the time to explain my legal options

I reached out to Robin Shishido to help me understand the severance agreement provided as a part of my layoff. Since I'm over 40 years old, the layoff notice was required to include additional information related to OWBPA and ADEA, but I was concerned my former employer wasn't meeting all of the requ...irements. Robin gave an initial estimate for time required to review the document and applicable laws and stayed within that estimate. Although she was busy with other issues, she remained responsive and mindful of the timeline/deadline we discussed for resolution. Although Robin didn't find any issues directly related to my concerns, she found several other issues in the severance agreement, gave her opinion on legal gray areas that may be an issue in the future, and her opinion on what may happen if we follow up with the employer with those concerns. Most importantly, Robin took the time to explain the important parts of the document and their related laws, ensuring that I clearly understood what was being covered. Although I didn't have an issue that could turn into a big payout, Robin still made me feel that my issue was just as important as any other. For this reason alone, I will be reaching out to Robin Shishido in the future if I need an employment attorney.

Best Decision Ever

I reached out to Robin originally for a consultation for a potential discrimination lawsuit recently and was not disappointed. After speaking for some time and hearing the compassion in Robin's voice, we decided to move forward with the case and I hired Robin. Robin is extremely emotionally supportiv...e, and constatnly assuring, making me feel safe and protected against the other party. Most importantly, I felt validated. Robin is very quick with her thinking and gives 100% effort. Every process was explained to me with clarity and she was very helpful if there were any questions or uncertanties. Robin was not only my lawyer, but my cheerleader and that made a huge impact. My life has changed for the better after my experience and I will never forget!

Robin helped me navigate and settle a career altering employment law case.

Robin and her law firm helped me navigate an employment law case where I was discriminated against and illegally terminated for issues out of my own control. Robin was extremely helpful, professional, and took her own personal time to explain every thing to me so I knew what was going on with the cas...e and what to expect. Every time I had questions she responded with alacrity. Her team helped me navigate a difficult legal issue that in the end helped change a large employers practices for the better. I can’t express my appreciation for what Shishido Taren Goldsworthy PLLC did for me. Robin helped me prepare for the case and depositions and was extremely thorough in her interviews with those she was deposing. I felt prepared and confident in what to expect and her thoroughness helped me be successful in this employment case. I couldn’t be happier with the result.

Exactly what I needed

I contacted Robin (she was referred to me) when I believed I was wrongfully terminated from my job as an executive in the financial industry. From the very get go, Robin gave me her full attention and honest professional opinions. She agreed to take my case, but before I did she was very clear and ...honest about the possibilities and the risk. Robin was responsive and communicated frequently with me, even though she had a full caseload. Her professionalism and compassion were outstanding, giving me the hope and confidence I needed during a stressful time. But the most important thing Robin did was that she believed me when I told her I was wrongfully terminated and unfairly treated. From that moment, she worked as my partner, discussing every option and even at times telling me what I needed to hear when I let my emotions (mostly anger) take ahold of me. Everything she advised was spot on throughout the entire process. Robin worked hard to get me a fair severance settlement, which kept me from having to endure a long and expensive process. That allowed me to move on, knowing that I got justice and that the company was held accountable for unfair employment practices. I am most grateful for having the opportunity to work with Robin and her team and I give her my highest recommendation.
