Imagine you are interviewed about a case, and then never heard anything about it again - until 10 years later you are arrested for charges you never knew about. To describe it in one word - devastating! In one afternoon our whole life was upside down and we felt helpless. We hired an attorney in the ...area who urged us to take a plea deal, but we were confident about our case even when she wasn't and we refused to take the plea deal. It was time to find someone new so we Google searched, asked for recommendations, looked at online reviews, etc. Robert stood out in our interviews because he was instantly passionate about our case. He listened to our extremely long explanation of the intricate nature of the case and all of the little bits of information we thought were key. He really took the time to analyze the information we were giving him, provide feedback, and advise us even though we hadn’t retained him yet. He was able to give us a key piece of knowledge that dramatically changed the direction of our case. I asked about the cost to retain his services for this case and was a little surprised by the cost – it was much more than we paid the previous attorney. Robert maintained a high level of professionalism and respect while arguing his point on our behalf and shocked the court room with some of the motions he was granted – they had never been granted before. During our trial, his daughter /partner was also present as his co-counsel. We loved how the two of them worked together with their different perspectives and were really on top of every word that was said in that court room – it was obvious they were as invested in this as we were. Out of three charges, two were dismissed, one resulted in a hung jury and was also dismissed. Overall, Robert and his team exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds. We had the opportunity to work with 4 total attorneys throughout this case (for different states we needed different attorneys) and none of them came close to the professionalism, passion, care, concern, dedication, knowledge, focus and piece of mind Robert and his team gave us.

With one phone call we were thrust into a nightmare. One which we would never have imagined. We had very little time to find an attorney and zero knowledge. I went to the internet and began searching; not knowing how else to find a defense attorney. I made some calls and asked a lot of questions. Here's the scary thing: We had spoken with an Everett Defense Attorney who would have charged us a significant amount less, but his expert recommendation was for us to wait until the file "hit the prosecutor's office", he'd track it down and "find out what it entailed". Then he'd go from there. Had we chosen to save money and had we listened to this advice, I believe with all my heart the outcome may not have been as favorable. Because as we all know, people are falsely prosecuted and people make the decisions and people are flawed and biased. I shudder to think what might have happened had I chosen any other attorney. Mr. Perez's immediate action, because he is necessarily aggressive and a take-the-bull-by-the-horns type, made all the difference. Beyond this imperative turning point Mr. Perez is obviously extremely intelligent; it shines through. He is responsive, straight-forward, kind, professional and persistent. His office staff were wonderful as well. Karen, in particular, was extremely supportive and immediately returned phone calls and emails. Until you are in a situation like this, and you're life hangs in the balance, you can not understand how imperative it is to have these people on your side. If I was to ever think I would be recommending a defense attorney in my life, I would have been shocked. I am here to tell you, it can happen to you and IF it does, I urge you to hire Robert Perez. Our case was dropped, and I can not explain the relief that the truth had come to light. It's an awful experience. Do not settle for less than Mr. Perez.

I cannot recommend Robert highly enough. I had consulted 5 other lawyers, all of who would charge lesser, went pretty close to promising outcomes, but none of them listened to the facts of the case as closely as Robert did. Robert keenly listened, laid out the procedure, listed out possible o...ptions/outcomes, and explained the entire process very well.
