I worked with Rich in 2016 when I went through a divorce, and I would highly recommend him. He was attentive to my case when it needed to be prioritized, and he was knowledgeable throughout the process. While we only made it to mediation, I would have been confident working with Rich had we gone to...

Customer Service Extremely Poor - Never Keeps His Client Informed
Well what should have been a 3-4k Divorce ended being dragged out for 5 months. He's doesn't care about is clients well being at all. I lost $3,000 to my wife's attorney before we even got to mediation. He never explained the importance of timely completing discovery of assets disclosure statement...
I repeatedly communicated with my client orally, in writing, and in person about the need to fully and timely respond to the other party's discovery requests. We had dozens of communications about this. It is important to note the other party was not at all reasonable with their settlement demands, and this is the tact they took throughout the litigation.. In fact, it is fair to say the other party's demands were outrageous. Once both sides completed their discovery, I was able to show opposing counsel how their demands were not supported by the evidence, and what my client was originally offering was more than reasonable, then the case settled without even needing to go to mediation. I did feel bad for my client because it was a short-term marriage with no significant assets or debts, and it should have been resolved for the initial fee deposit of $1500, or less, not the thousands spent. My client was a victim of an overly aggressive attorney who did not have either all the facts, or the correct facts from the client. It took awhile, and it cost more than it should have, but in the end, it settled for about what I expected in the beginning. I wish my client the best of luck!

A highly recommended attorney
I initially met with Richard for a free consultation. It was clear from the start that he had the knowledge and experience necessary to handle my case. My case was very complicated, involving a modification of a parenting plan with the children residing in another state. Richard took the time to list...
"Mr. Cassady is an exemplary attorney who I would recommend to everyone and anyone. Hiring him might very well be the best decision that you have ever made. His answers on Avvo are perfect. I have practiced for 24 years as a judge, magistrate, prosecutor, and private attorney and he is one of the best I have encountered."
"Richard is diligent in his efforts to provide favorable results for his clients. He is appropriately aggressive, while maintaining an attitude of reasonableness necessary for the unique challenges associated with family law cases. I have looked to Richard for guidance and/or creative ideas for complicated family law issues on numerous occasions and he has always offered valuable assistance. I highly recommend Richard."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. Richard Cassady is a very professional, competent attorney. Many years ago we were on opposite sides of a case. Now I refer potential family law clients to him."
