I am a sole owner of a Limited Liability Company (LLC). I went to the trouble of making four copies of the LLC Operating Agreement. Richard Cassady decided not to include the LLC Operating Agreement which shows me as the sole owner. He said this is Family Law not Business Law. Because of this the Cou...rt Commissioner issue a temporary order (that lasted 2 years) that gave control of part of my LLC to my now X-wife and required me to obtain her approval for all business decisions. I have talked to three lawyers after dropping Mr. Cassady. They considered it a gross legal error to omit the LLC Operating Agreement. The Opposing Counsel even ask Mr. Cassady’s replacement why it was not filed in the first place. It cost me over $200,000 in legal fees in my divorce. I believe much of this was to fight the problems caused by Richard Cassady deciding not to include the LLC Operating Agreement in the original court filings.
