sloppy
Sloppy pretty much sums this guy up. From his office to his preperation to his billing/accounting. Burns up money " preparing for the case" and then shows up in court a half an hour early and cobbles together his case plan and then stammers through it iin the court room. Replied last October 03, 2018This client had a very complicated, and unusual case. This client was very unhappy with the guardian ad litem's report and investigation. I did not yell at the GAL; just discussed my client's complaints with the GAL. Yes, I did show up around 30 minutes early so we could hopefully be the first hearing called by the court (every court case on that calendar has the same start time, so it is a first come, first serve type of court calendar), which would save the client time and money. But because the client's sibling, who was a critical party to the case did not arrive to court until 105 or so minutes after the start time for court, we were the last case called by the court. Since this hearing is, also, is based solely upon what is timely submitted in writing beforehand and no oral testimony is taken, the client's argument was already submitted days before the hearing, so nothing was cobbled together.
