Russ Mead
Russ Mead is a nonprofit and employment lawyer with over 20 years of experience. He provides legal advice to many different types of nonprofits on nonprofit issues as well as general business matters. He advises employees on employment issues and handles cases involving wages, noncompete agreements, and severance packages.
Russ is a licensed attorney in Washington and a frequent speaker at legal conferences. He teaches nonprofit law at Lewis & Clark Law School. Russ is the author of the legal text book, “Nonprofit Animal Law”. He is the past president of the Fremont Chamber of Commerce and has twice been the Chair of the King County Bar Association solo and small firm section. His nonprofit volunteer work includes service on the King County Bar Association Education Committee and speaking at bar association and animal law conferences. Russ earned an accounting degree from Arizona State University, a CPA certificate from the State of Arizona, an MBA from Lindenwood College, and his law degree from St. Louis University School of Law.
