Allyson Janay Ferguson

Janay Ferguson is of counsel with Terrell Marshall Law Group PLLC. Her practice focuses on complex civil litigation, professional malpractice, and employment law. Janay’s legal practice benefits from her experience as a corporate financial analyst. Her business background enhances her ability to analyze conflicts and seek practical solutions. Janay has represented attorneys, brokers, accountants, realtors, and other professionals in matters involving a variety of claims, including those related to professional discipline, corporate dissolution, employment disputes, significant personal injury claims, and malpractice.

Janay is admitted to practice in Washington, Oregon, and Texas. She has successfully tried cases throughout Washington and on appeal. Additionally, Janay has handled numerous arbitrations, dispositive motions, and mediations. She has investigated, pursued and defended employment claims involving harassment and discrimination. Janay advises companies on employment agreements, policy development and best practices.

Janay is a member of QLAW and has served on its Judicial Evaluation Committee since 2007. She has participated in the King County Bar Association’s Volunteer Legal Services program, which provides legal representation to low-income clients and helped build homes with Habitat for Humanity. Janay was a judicial clerk to Justice Charles W. Johnson of the Washington Supreme Court. Washington Law & Politics named her a “Rising Star” in 2005, 2006, and 2009.
