Michael David Myers

As my children and I were on our way home from purchasing tiles and paint to make coasters as Christmas gifts, our lives were forever changed in an instant. A driver that had a license suspension and was also supposed to be utilizing a interlock system due to previous drunk driving incidents, ran a ...red light causing my vehicle to be scattered over the roadway and myself and my children severe injury. Since last year, my son has been fighting to get his life back. He was diagnosed with a Traumatic Brain Injury immediately following the accident. During this process, my son found out that the person at fault returned to a regular life free of physical injury. We were also made aware that he was bailed shortly after being booked. My son, in his teens, was so angry. I remember him screaming "Do you see me?, Where is the blessing MOM?!!, I am here like this and he walked away!" I must say, I had a rough time answering this question. I explained that God doesn't give us more than we can handle (like a teen wants to hear that), I also explained that that person has to live with his choices, which is sometimes harder than that of physical limitations. However, two days later, I came across a newsletter in my email from Myer's and Co. I didn't think they could help as I didn't have uninsured motorist and the driver who hit us didn't even have a valid license but, they are still fighting for us! Every time we get an update, I show my son his "blessing". Sometimes in life, we have battles that though may not have been because of our choices but that of others, we have to tackle. Though seemingly unfair and unjust, when we are faced in these predicaments, sometimes, the only fight we have in us is that of our ability to get our health back. Myer's and Company has allowed for all of our focus to be on recovery from our injuries. I cannot say how much that means to me! As for my son, he is grateful as well and continues to fight!! We are truly thankful to have these guys in our corner and we honestly would recommend them to anyone in need of a amazing accident/injury lawyer.
