Shannon has a civil litigation practice with an emphasis on employment law. In addition to representing employers in wage-and-hour and discrimination lawsuits, Shannon counsels employers on managing workplace conflicts and complying with state and federal employment laws to avoid litigation. Shannon’s litigation practice also includes resolving disputes in the areas of securities, contracts, real estate, and insurance. Her goal is to help clients find a practical solution to their business conflicts, whether in court, arbitration, mediation, or informal negotiation. Before joining Ryan Swanson, Shannon clerked for Justice Mary Fairhurst of the Washington State Supreme Court.
