Biography
Kroontje Law Office continues Maury Kroontje's 20 years of civil trial practice in the State of Washington. Maury's practice has included personal injury law, construction lawsuits, commercial and business law, insurance defense law, civil litigation and trial practice in Washington courts. Prior to founding KLO, Maury was a partner-level attorney with one of Seattle's most historically rooted law firms. In 2007, he decided to establish KLO as a new civil litigation practice in downtown Seattle. Maury has been an active trial lawyer in Washington State since 1993.
Maury has represented hundreds of civil litigants in the state and federal courts throughout Washington. He has been counsel of record in civil lawsuits in the courts of 22 of Washington's 39 counties.
Maury earned his law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia in 1993. In 1991 and 1992, Maury was a Summer Law Clerk for the United States Attorney's Office in Seattle. He lives in Seattle with his wife and two children.
