I couldn't had selected a better attorney for my case. Facing jail time and within a second I really took inventory in Matthews workmanship/ education. Noticing his tenacity and determination and taking full control of the courtroom. He had no moments to spare and in that instance he was confident an...d persevered to have our case heard by another judge in another court room and in under five minutes. Please, keep in mind as you read this I was facing jail time(the first judge we saw was ultra determined to make sure I was not leaving as free man), I had a bench warrant out for an arrest that was open for 8 years. Matthew Hartman was put on the spot and with my sincere and deep appreciation I was able to experience the only unique court hearing that I'll ever get to experience in the court of law. In the last four years I've had the misfortune to need a divorce attorney, criminal attorney and litigation attorney (all separate cases). All of these attorneys were responsive and relatively easy to communicate with. They kept me up-to-date on important dates, advised on strategy and mitigated any... risk. Unfortunately, I did not find this to be the case with Mr. Hartman.

Obviously as a professional in today's landscape discretion is very highly appreciated. When hiring an attorney for any reason this is always welcome. Next would be professional knowledge as I feel that what we strive mostly for when hiring legal help. Matt has proved excellent in both of my top crit...eria I've mentioned. He has also gone above and beyond on the actual work load. This is not common among attorneys. I've always felt they do as little as possible. Most likely true of all of our professions as we find ourselves in water up to our necks more than often. With all due respect he is a top notch attorney and a first rate trial lawyer. I know because we hung the jury on our first go around and he found himself re-trying the case. 10 out of 10.

I came to Matt with multiple complicated cases, which he was quick to understand even though they were not necessarily in his areas of expertise. He was always very responsive to any questions I had, was not late for meetings, and if he didn't know something he would find it out. I have had at leas...t 3 previous attorneys who charged twice as much and did not deliver half the service as Matt did. I finally felt that I had conscientious representation upon hiring him. As is often the case with legal matters, the outcome was less desirable than what I had hoped for some cases, but he managed to settle the others rather quickly.
