Condescending and left me with a very poorly drawn-up parenting plan

I am still suffering with the horrible Parenting Plan this attorney helped me put together. I know of no one else with as bad a PP as I have as the custodial parent, i.e. almost no vacation time with my child. He left the mediation in a hurry to go on vacation. He always spoke to me in opaque legales...e rather than as a human. That I could have happily borne if the work was good, but when other lawyers try and help me out of fixes from this very uneven plan now, they are astonished at how badly written it is, with many, many grey areas. When I tried to discuss my dissatisfaction with him, he said he could no longer help or speak to me. I would never want a friend to be stuck with the sort of situation I have thanks to the "help" I got from this lawyer.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
