Poor service
We attempted going to Janet for some immigration issues. We had a call in which she promised multiple follow-up next steps with a target week to have meetings. We flew people in for meeting to have her cancel in 11th hour. I found her and her staff completely inconsiderate of our time and money getti...

Green card trough marriage.
I don't understand how can people give her 5 stars!! This lawyer is really bad. We had to do all the paperwork with my wife, and we had one mistake in all my paperwork and the paralegal who checked the paperwork couldn't catch that, so the documents had to be fixed and send it back. We agree to how...
Given this is an anonymous review, and without additional information, I cannot speak specifically to this person’s concerns, nor can I even confirm that I actually represented them. However, I can say that I have never over charged a client as is outlined in this complaint. I would ask that those perusing Avvo and reading this review consider my 35 years of distinguished practice in the field of immigration law, my service as Chair of my law firm’s Immigration practice group, and the many other ways I’ve been recognized for my professionalism and ethical practice of law. I would also encourage those seeking legal counsel to consider all of my other reviews, which have resulted in a 10 out of 10 rating on Avvo. I take great pride in my work and value my relationships with clients, as these 5-star reviews show.

Janet is an experienced and knowledgeable attorney.
I went to Janet with my immigration issue (L1-H1) which needed immediate attention. She was responsive, patient and truly empathized with me. The problem I had was not as grave but rather unusual and she made sure that all my doubts were addressed. She was very patient with me and never failed to ans...

Hanet Cheetham has an excellent knowledge base and offers enthusiastic helpfulness.
Janet has been working with a case of mine for over two years while we waited for an adoption to be finalized. She referred us to appropriate professionals when necessary and, during this time, she prepared all the documents, lined up all the information, and pushed this case forward in a very effec...

Could not have found a better attorney, and a more patient and compassionate person. I'm forever grateful!
My son's case was very different and complicated. Janet researched and moved forward timely and perfectly, and was so patient and respectful of my endless questions and concerns. She was positive and real. No empty promises! Janet delivered and facilitated my dream to come true for my son. I hi...
"Janet Cheetham is one of the premier immigration attorneys in the Pacific Northwest, and indeed, in the country. Not only is she one of the top experts in our field, but she is very good with clients. I know. She helped obtain a visa for one of my relatives who works for a major corporate client of Janet's."
