Best legal fee I ever paid

Despite having been through five suits on a related matter with representation from various regional firms, Richard was the first attorney who was able to strategize a response to the insurer that resulted in a global settlement to all claimants. He has an uncanny understanding of how insurance compa...nies think and of their processes and motivations. I've retained most of the major New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco firms over the years, and still never seen the "bang for the buck" that Richard delivered. In any future matter involving insurance, I'd pay his retainer out of my own pocket just to know he was representing us. He is superb.

Superb insurance coverage lawyer

There is no one who knows more about insurance coverage than Richard Dykstra. He is experienced and knowledgeable in this area and as brilliant and persuasive in the courtroom as he is on paper or in one on one discussion. He provides his clients with a thoughtful, realistic and complete analysis and... is very accessible and willing to answer questions. I highly recommend him to anyone with an insurance coverage problem who wants intelligent, innovative and ethical representation. He has no peer when it comes to the intricacies of this very difficult area of the law.

excellent lawyer

I am a subcontractor who has been involved in many condominium defect lawsuits. I've retained Mr. Dykstra many times over the last 5 years for insurance coverage issues. Mr. Dykstra's performance has been outstanding in every case. I highly recommend Mr. Dykstra for anyone with insurance coverage iss...ues. As a matter of fact, I was so impressed with the job Mr. Dykstra has done that I've moved all my legal needs to Stafford Fry Cooper

Insurance Wizard

Mr. Dykstra is pure genius on insurance law. It is rare to find anyone in any field of endeavor who has the capacity to succinctly sift and analyze pertinent facts, as well as the facility to synthesize those facts into a pragmatic solution. These capabilities are routine for Mr. Dykstra. He is both ...creative and practical. With the highest standard of ethics and an unpretentious style of communication, he treats his clients with due deference and respect. Mr. Dykstra is the consummate professional of remarkable ability.

Esquire

Dykstra is as calm as he is thorough. He judiciously leaves questions of business up to the client, yet he also provides the paths that permit the client to fully consider courses of action.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
